I took my 2 broken old 18k white gold necklaces for repair. The lady quoted me £35 each. I thought to think about it. Then she said I could sell them to them. She tested in their machine and weighted them and quoted me that they worth £115. I thought to think about it because I wasn't thinking to sell them at first. One week later, I had decided to sell them instead of getting repair. I went back and it's different lady. She quoted me £110. I thought never mind only £5 difference. Price of gold is up and down anyway. So I said OK, she checked my ID, she weighted them and 15 mins later, she said my necklaces didn't pass their machine. She said they couldn't buy them from me because they are only 14k white gold. I said I bought them from one of the famous reliable jewellers in Hong Kong. So I know they both were 18k white gold. I took them to different jewellers to get the price of repair. They all confirmed my necklaces were 18k white gold. They quoted me different prices for repair and selling of course. Roughly around £25 to £65 each for repair and roughly £100 to buy from me. So I thought the lady quotedme £115was a good price. However, I left without selling because the 2nd lady said my necklaces wasn't 18k white gold.I couldn't believe it and I left, then I found other jeweller in Romford and I asked the quote of repair only £15 each and to sell them was £130. I sold to the other jeweller for £130 in the end.

If you need to pawn something make shore you take numerous I?d with you as a photo driving licence and utility e mails are insufficient. unfortunately all my bills and banking are now done on line luckily enough I found another shop local who was most helpful and gave me a great rate with the id I had

Downsized a 10 carat white gold ring one size, aside from the fact that is now fits properly, you can't tell they've touched it, it looks like new.
