Quite cheap and easy to get and out of. There was paper towels at the pumps so able to effect 'gloves' and not touch the same hard surfaces as other have.\\nInside the kiosk was well marked for social distancing and the staff were behind large screens. It was empty when I went in so no problems with queues.\\nWould have been better to have pay at the pump buy overall a good petrol station in the current situation.

Not cheap but no petrol stations are these days, itâ??s just an average petrol station I guess.

This is the usual look of the shop. Lack of choice for sandwiches (if they have at all), for months on end there was no still water with the Meal Deal (change of supplier they claimed), vacuum usually does not work.
Upside? They are still selling petrol...

Night manager needs bit more teaching on manners . Customer skills absolutely rude and working with such individual is just worst time you can do. I hope sainsbury's will look into it and guide night store manager some manners , people skills interpersonal skills. And most importantly right attitude manners and discipline.
Speaking with experience.

Good collection of food stuffs. Friendly staff.
Would have liked if Halal meat section was here. It would have been easier to buy them.

One of the worst stores in London I've been too. I've always thought of Sainsbury's as a great place with friendly people until I went the Romford store... The staff are very disrespectful, as well as know how to waste the customers time, latter on that day after visiting the store I tried to contact the store on several attempts to log a complaint about the abuse I suffered from the store however they did not answer, one of the reasons I believe they was rude was to to my ethnicity as one staff laughed at my accent, taking this into considration I realised the store is not as diverse as it should be. I asked to speak to the manager regarding the rude staff in person however even she refused to come down to meet me. I would not be shoping within the Romford store, and if a manager does read this I advice you train your staff around how to treat the customers as well as how to answer a phone, and further more reflect your store around diversity and respect. If your a customer or a future employee do not visit this store, I guess you have promised yourself a bad day. This store ruins the reputation of Sainsbury's.
