What a fall from grace, Once upon a time customers were put at the pinnacle of this Company. We went into the new branch to change address and was placed on a list with a 15 minute wait. As we had just moved into our new house my wife wanted to look at some new curtains so I told her as we have some waiting time the shops a few steps down go a have a look. The Member of Staff who logged us in immediately stepped in and told us if you leave I will strike you off the list. She was reminded that Im still staying here. Her attitude was totally unacceptable, they tend to forget that they are only their wearing a uniform and earning Salary because of the people still walking through the front door and not going online as so many customers have been pushed to do resulting in so many branch closures. It?s no longer about Customer Service, it?s all about Shareholder value.

Worst idea going, what were they thinking doing this layout or type of service. Staff trying but disorganized which is even more time consuming for customers

Had to finish up paying our mortgage after my dad passed away and the staff were totally useless apart from one lady named Jess. Was made to phone multiple times the bereavement support because people couldn?t give us correct information and the staff treated my mum with total lack of respect or understanding. Will never have anything to do with this bank again due to this incident and would suggest the staff be sent on training with how to handle bereavement cases.

Had to wait even I had appointment. Aswell i wasnt seen by the person the Appointment was booked with. Still i managed to convince them to help me cuz they wanted me to look for answers online.

Terrible waiting times, very bad set up. Layout is very bad. One member of staff told me I didn't need proof of address for what I needed so I came back the next day with what I was told to bring and surprise surprise I was told I'd need proof of add. Old bank across the way was set up much better. Also a fella by the name George was very nice and unfortunately had a lot of horrible people to deal with at the main entrance, unfortunately he was getting blamed for the service

Wish I could give no stars. I Went in with my grandad to draw some money out. Was a big amount so had to go to an actual worker and not cash point. Had a lady called Lorraine. All I can say is what a miserable rude lady! Even when asking for her name she was rude. She?s got a lovely complaint coming her way though ;)

Walked into Halifax to close a dormant account. 15 minutes and it was done. Partner then walks into Santanter to close a dormant account, told she needs to put her name on a list and wait approx 45 minutes to be called. Told its always this busy and always the wait. She has to take a half day off instead of popping in at lunch.Certainly wouldn't consider having a santander account.

Went into santander In Romford today and couldn't believe the queue to get my own money out!! Only 2 tills open queues up to the door and no body cares. Then was told the book is going in March so now I feel they don't deserve my custom anymore after 30 years no apology either
