The lights are on but no one is home. Online you can take a photo of a cheque you want to pay in, BUT the max value is £500 per cheque, and max £750 in cheque value per week. So... You head to your local branch out of normal working hours, as you have an actual job!! And find out that you can't deposit a cheque of £501 or more as it hasn't got any envelopes. At 6pm you'd expect the ATM to be full to the brim of envelopes.. Nope! I can only blame the staff. Oh and the lights were literally left on and no one was home, their door was locked.

My mother was in tears after visiting the Ruislip branch.O Friday 8th April morning visited the HSBC branch to take out £2000 from her bank account as she was urgently flying to India. She is an 80 year old pensioner, quite frail? and was confused because the lady there told her she couldn?t take money out because her card was not activated and didn?t offer any help except saying there are others in queue. My mother was in tears and the lady there here was unsympathetic and rude. I am shocked at this behaviour and will be taking this up further. This is not the way to treat people.

One star, as HSBC will not let you post your feed back unless you give them a Star!! Tried to phone my branch for advice, there are so many hoop to jump through you would not believe or be prepared for. I went online to their web page for phone number which turned out to be general Why do l need to give so much info to speak to my bank, l am not asking sensitive info, the phone number is not on the letter inviting me to attend an interview. It used to be on the branch letters or in a directory! l finally got to speck to the customer servises after a long wait. She told me she did not have access to the branch number, unbelievable what sort of Micky Mouse Bank is this that they do not trust their own staff with this info.Luckily for me l have another more approachable bank l can carry on dealing with so l am not going to open any more business with HSBC.

Just a small walk-in kiosk, staff not available during weekends (but usually there is someone you can ask one thing). I wish they would have normal opening with one full-staff at Saturday. Parking is almost impossible around.

Rude staff. Went to pay a cheque into my account and just highlighted it was an old cheque to the cashier. The lady then ripped up the paying in slip throw the cheque back to me and said cant pay it in it's told and then turned her back on me. Will be closing the accounts.
