Food was bland and wet. Ordered the Italian fennel sausage tagliatelle with chilli and garlic; it felt like 99% pasta and couldn't taste a thing but that; not even a kick from the sauce. It's no wonder so many Italian chain restaurants disappear. On the positive side, front of house staff were very lovely.
We opened our first restaurant back in 1955, in London's Goodge Street. Our family wanted to introduce people to the fresh, simple Italian food that we all love from back home in Italy. Londoners fell in love with the fresh food and welcoming ambiance of a traditional Italian restaurant, and we had huge success.
Today, that simple recipe remains as popular as ever and our family is proud to now have 10 local restaurants, across Central London, all sharing the same values that our founders, Simone and Lorenzo believed in over 65 years ago.
