Poor refund policy, wouldnâ??t refund something even though itâ??s under warranty period. In addition, the female manager was very unfriendly, unhelpful, and to some extent hostile.

I had a terrible experience with Argos, I order some stuff online, and they cancelled my delivery twice in a row without a notice and all of sudden they delivered it after they sent me order cancellation confirmation email & texts.
Since I bought an alternative product, I went to this store to return the item that were delivered to my house by mistake. First of all, the store manager at Cromwell Road decided to confront me with such a hostile attitude, saying my explanation is not sufficient enough for her to understand the logic between home delivery and store refund.
Because of her refusing, not listening attitude, I asked for a store manager and she said it was her... I was appalled. She did not listen to me and kept saying that she needed to talk with the customer support which was shut 30 mins ago.
In fact the customer support was still open, and when I called them and connected them (using my own phone) she finally understood and issued me a refund, without a single apology.
Although delivery people that Argos hires externally were always so nice, I will certainly never shop there again neither online nor in-store.
