Located on a busy road a few minutes' walk from South Kensington station, this Waitrose branch offers a nice selection of foods, including sandwiches and bakery items (the steak sandwich was lovely).Quite pricey as one would typically expect from a Waitrose compared to the average UK store, but it still offers a varied range of goods despite it being the 'Little' version of its supermarket counterpart.

staff were rude, obnoxious and hostile for no reason. i was followed around the shop and made to feel like a criminal by multiple members of staff. next time do your job instead of stalking young women who only want to buy a loaf of bread and coleslaw :)

Rude member of staff -Wanted something from the bakery part. Had to grab a small bread roll by hand as it was the last one and a member of staff was playing with the tongs that are usually available as he was stood around chatting to colleagues. He watched me do this and, instead of offering me the tongs as I was choosing, decided to hold them up and say "Oi, next time you should use these".Not the best customer service - hanging onto the tongs and then waiting and watching a customer having to grab something by hand only to then call them out on it.Assume he works for the bakery section as he was wearing a hairnet etc.

Today I received help from a lovely partner who assisted me at self checkout. Although we didn?t speak the same language (he communicates in British sign language), he was super helpful and friendly. I learnt how to sign thank you!

Appaling customer service lead, poor product.I'd rate 0 if possible.With this attitude, poor product quality, lack of care from customer service lead, poor management and grumpy, not knowledgeable staff, that branch can close tomorrow, won't be missed.I was treated disrespectfuly by this customer service lead, he doesn't use a name badge either.I bought a soup and the seal was broken. I went to get a refund and was treated like a criminal instead of getting an apology.He refused to tell me his name. This is not a professional attitude. He was rude, obnoxious and unhelpful.I complained to the Head Office and apparently it is OK not to have a badge with a name. And to sell poor quality products.Check the cameras, you will see who was in error. If you care. I'd rather go to Tesco now, at least the products are cheaper.

Horrendous experience at this store.I have been a Waitrose customer for more than ten years. I stopped going to Waitrose in November 2022, when the manager forced me out of this store (I shopped here for more than three years because I work in South Kensington).I should have left a review at that time but forgot.The story is too long to write here, but it is worth mentioning that when I repeatedly asked customer service to check the cameras so that they could see the rude and aggressive behaviour of their manager, they decided not to do it, and between their manager version and mine, they chose to back the manager?s one. I have only one regret, that I did not take a video of the episode (also because threatened by the manager that the store was private property, and I was not allowed to take a video). If I have had a video, Waitrose customer service wouldn?t have gotten away with what they did.Anyway, since then I did not enter any Waitrose stores and cancelled my Christmas delivery. I am gutted by the manager?s behaviour as much as I am by the way customer service handled my complaint.But it?s ok, they do not need my money, and, most importantly, I don?t need their products.Here is a picture of the bakery counter on Saturday morning. On a Sunday morning, same scene, therefore, I dare to ask why shelves were always empty at 9am on Sunday or around 8am on a Saturday (most of the weekends, there is nothing on display around those times).No answer was given to my question, instead, I have been laughed at by the staff at the bakery counter and forced out by the manager; even the security guard was shocked by such a reaction.Never again.

Coffee machine seems not working twice a week. Staff mainly unhelpful. Manager walks about scowling like a northern nightclub doormanOne lady with blonde hair is very helpful tho.Choice of food awful.
