Room was good size and had kitchen facilities and a washing machine. But lacked a wardrobe to unpack clothes into for a long stay. Mentioned this to people at the front desk. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Amanda at the front desk in particular. Could not have been better. Hotel was extremely well placed for what we wanted to do. Near Royal Albert Hall, V&A museum, Science Museum and Natural History Museum. Also Harrods was just a 15 minute walk away.

I arrived at the hotel at about 12:30pm. I was told by an extremely rude manger that check in was at 4 pm. I went out to while away my time and came back at 3pm, only to be told by another surly guy at the reception that they are a very busy hotel so people are just going to have to wait. They had the attitude of take it or leave it. It appears management has changed recently, and this new management is going to end up running their clients away with their appalling people skills. Extremely rude and unfriendly front office staff, with the exception of the Porter who was wonderful. There was also a young man at the reception who was very pleasant. The breakfast is basic and substandard, and as you enter the hotel, there were workmen drilling away and having loud conversations. Stay away if you want your peace. There are much better options in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. I love the location of Fraser Suites. Very close to the tube and great neighborhood restaurants and museums. Apartments are spacious. And Shamal is the best! He will help you out with anything that you need. Ask for him!

This place is great and there?s one guy here who makes it amazing - Shamal - he?s the bellman but I?ve stayed here the last 5 years and he?s the only one who is still Here and he is the most competent and best customer service. If you?re staying here, he will help you. The rooms here are big. They have a gym. It?s right in Kensington so very safe. For the price this is the best hotel in the area especially if you?re staying more than a weekend. They have microwaves and fridge and some rooms even have washer machine and stove tops. This is your home away from Home and Shamal will make it feel that way!

We had a comfortable stay in Fraser. The concierge was helpful. The breakfast was satisfying. The danish pastries and croissants kept us full and wanting the same next day. It?s location was close to a lot of tourist spots in zone 1. Another good stay at Frasers

My parents and I stayed in the one-bedroom executive suite; we originally planned to stay for three nights but checked out after two. The room itself was lovely: spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, inward-looking and thus away from the noise of the main road, and a lovely attached terrace. The location of the hotel was also perfect?it is a 5-minute walk from Gloucester Road station and the supermarkets and cafes surrounding it, and a 10-minute walk from Kensington Gardens. This is where the positives end. There were ladders and plaster debris all over on the ground floor as well as the fifth floor (where our room was situated), giving us the impression that the hotel was in the midst of undertaking major repairs. It rained heavily during the first night, and we woke up to a massive water leak in the ceiling in the living room. The ACs in the room weren't working, and the room was unusually warm and humid, especially at night. When we were checking out, the gentleman at the reception told us that the ACs had stopped working in most rooms the previous week?we were shocked to hear this because when we first called the front desk to report the non-functioning AC, the lady led us to believe this was a short-term fixable issue, which it obviously was not. They offered us a 20% discount to make up for our terrible experience, and refunded the tariff for the third night since we checked out early. It's egregious for a luxury hotel to accept reservations when it is plagued by such significant maintenance issues. I really hope the hotel gets its act together, but for now, my advice would be to find another hotel.

Rate this a 2.5 because of the room and a 4 for location. Great location - literally 5 mins walk from Gloucester Road tube, Waitrose and Tesco Express plus coffee shops, pubs etc. We booked a one bedroom executive (room 110) and it did not meet our expectations. The living room was depressingly dark with a view onto drain pipes and a roof. Couch EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Pillows provided were lumpy and woefully uncomfortable. Looking at them, they were very old and need replacing. Asked for more and they were exactly the same. This is a very easy and necessary fix. The room had a shower over the bath which is normally not a problem but it was very hard to get in and out. Actually is a huge safety risk. A few of the lamps either had no light bulb or the bulbs had blown. Clearly housekeeping not checking that. The air conditioning units were very old and made odd noises. We reported this to reception and the maintenance man said this was normal. It is not normal! You could not sleep without them as room stuffy otherwise. They need replacing. Did ask to change rooms on check-in and the receptionist was dismissive. Asked again a few days later and was shown a room on Ground floor that was terrible. The receptionist was very helpful though. We decided to stay where we were. We had booked the hotel for 9 nights, so booked a larger room. Would hardly think the room we were should be classified as ?Executive?. On the plus side, bed was comfy and there was a washing machine in room which is needed for such a long stay.

Excellent service, clean, spacious rooms and courteous staff. Also close to many major attractions. The service apartment was spacious and well equipped for a long stay. We had breakfast included in our package... which could have been a little better.

My wife and I stayed at the Fraser Suites Queens Gate for 6 nights. There are big plusses and minuses for this hotel. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and always tried to be as helpful as possible. In addition, the room was well furnished, very clean, and large. The continental breakfast was fine, with lots of choices. The location of the hotel is perfect. Unfortunately, within a few hours of our arrival, water started dripping from the ceiling in our room (over the kitchen sink). I contacted the staff, and we were given another room. However, our biggest problem was the air-conditioning. It was broken throughout the hotel when we arrived and did not work well when it was fixed a few days later. The staff acknowledged the problem and gave us a large fan, which helped. Normally we would not have needed air conditioning, but the weather was unusually nice the week we stayed, leaving our 4th floor room somewhat stuffy. If it had not been for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, our stay at this hotel could have been horrible.

The advantage of this property is its location. It is brilliantly close to the Gloucester Rd tube station. However the access with heavy luggage or a disability is challenging. Even with lift access to the Piccadilly line the tube station has 2 flights of stairs and the suites also have a flight of stairs from the street. The suite we used was close to the lift and had a great view of Cromwell Road, but it was far from as spacious as you would expect from the name. The kitchenette was well appointed, with fridge, hot plate, microwave oven and toaster, but the cutlery and crockery were only 2 items of each, so washing up was a frequent task. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the lack of attention to the condition of the building was disappointing.

Location is amazing. It's right in the middle of the Royal Mile and walking distance from the train station. Service is spectacular. Guido gave us a few useful tips. I really recommend Fraser Suites.

Horrible sofabed, not good to sleep at even for kids. Spacious apartment. Nice bathroom, but showerhead was not working properly. Location is great. Right next to Gloucester Road tube station and local store and restaurants.

This hotel is simply tired and is in urgent need of renovation. We arrived at 1 in the morning - the sofa bed was not made for my child and there was no water in the room. The lights in the kitchen and bathroom were also not working. The furniture is old and stained and should be replaced. Our room was dark with an awful outlook onto a dirty veranda. I would not recommend staying here - it's depressing and expensive.

Great location and good sized, clean room. Very disappointed at the service. Locked out of room multiple times and rude staff , random calls from reception for no reason, maids trying to get into the room before 9am on a Saturday then returning before checkout. Service levels need improvement.

We stayed in the Executive rooms for 3 nites with my family. The hotel really needs upgrading. The paints were peeling off and there were stains on the wall too. The sofa bed was too soft and uncomfortable. The wall socket next to the TV was loosened and hanging off the wall. Overall, the apartment wasn?t well maintained. We stayed in the same hotel many years ago and it was much better. The staff was ok. They were helpful when we need help. Of course, the location of the hotel is good.
