Big Tesco in one of the last pockets of inner London to have avoided the broad brush of gentrification. Normally has people hanging around outside asking for change. Fairly well stocked inside but don't count on the toilets working. If I have a long list and the time to do so then I prefer taking the trip to Surrey Quays over this branch.

Horrible security team has stopped and accused me if theft twice and grabbed my bag, being condescending and rude when I had stole nothing. It was awful, they were threatening me and maneuvering and pushing and pulling me, touching me. They must be judging me by my appearance as I had fall and have a visible facial injury. Safe to say I will not be going back unless security team face repercussions.

I come into this Tesco frequently and the customer service has become absolutely appalling in the last few months - though it has always been pretty bad.Hostile and unhelpful staff, today it was Rosemary who was supervising the trolley self checkout. Stood around joking with her colleagues for several minutes and wouldn't let me use a vacant till in an almost empty store. The customer service person at the Customer Service desk was also awful, walked away in the midst of serving me to chat to security about a bottle.I have come into store heavily pregnant, and now with my baby, and there is almost always dehumanising experience with staff - particularly older female staff. I have even brought along a male family member with me to resolve a return for me and the difference in our treatment was staggering. It's like they detest pregnant women and children, I am so sick.of the discriminatory experiences.

In this Cameron automatic money machine, many thieves come to clone debit cards to withdraw money later. The strategy they use is to tell people that the machine takes the card and does not return it back. 04/11/23. Manuel.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I had a terrible experience at this particular Tesco, the stuff was very rude and unhelpful.Not to mention there were no trolleys available outside, so I saw one next to security, I was told that?s impossible to use because it?s for the security guard to use it. Still doesn?t make sense to me, I had planned to make my weeks shopping but ended up buying a small bag.

Customer service is now poor at this place as my first interaction with them in a long while showed. After 3 visits over 2 days, talking to 2 customer service reps (one of them being deceitful and confrontational), 2 managers, as well as 2 calls to the tesco helpline, I finally got my refund of £2 for the hummus I had purchased which turned out to be spoilt. I had bought and happily consumed the same product several times before and simply couldn't believe the store were telling me I should just accept their HQ-given "policy". They half-understood when I explained that it wouldn't make sense for me to buy this and other products from them knowing I might be buying something that's spoilt and never get my money back.Luckily, on my second call to the helpline, I spoke to someone reasonable who told me that what the store employees were saying was "rubbish", also that it's impossible to get a complaint reference code to bring back to the store (as they had asked me to do) because the team that provided those had actually disbanded over a year ago. That call was followed by my third visit, an apparent call by a store manager to the helpline, then my refund.All for just £2? Yep. And principles, consumer power (every little helps right?!), and all that stuff. We saw the funny side at certain points, but I made sure they knew I wouldn't budge. End result is I will not be returning to this store. Had it not been for the sensible helpline woman, I would have avoided all tesco stores (on my 3 visits I was accompanied by a very orange supermarket shopping bag which hopefully gave weight to threats to take my custom elsewhere).

Standard Tesco outlet, clean and tidy for the most part but the toilets smelled of stagnant urine it was most unpleasant

Tesco Superstore at old Kent roadI wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received from your staff member, Matthew. I was in need of ice and unfortunately, it had run out on the shelves. I approached Matthew for assistance and he went above and beyond to help me out.Without hesitation, Matthew provided me with two ice bags straight from the storage area. His willingness to help and prompt action made my shopping experience at Tesco a positive one.
