I ordered 2 new tyres online which entitled me to a discount. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Delivered vehicle as requested 10 mins before appointment. Was advised I would get a call within an hour or so which was welcomed as it meant I had the car for the rest of the day.as mention received a call within the hour .very happy with the service offered and the approach by the staff.very happy

DON'T USE. Halfords in general only know about basic service items such as bulbs, brakes, tyres and oil. Even then, the work is sloppy and they use cheap parts.Purchased a new vehicle and I thought I would give this garage another try after a previous poor experience. They unfortunately cancelled my first online booking due to short staffing. My vehicle would make a tapping noise when the engine was turned on. When I eventually did get a booking, even though the noise was there for everyone to hear, they said it was it was fine. I told them to sit in the car so I could first hand demonstrate the noise but they declined saying there were no issues.Ended up going to another garage who diagnosed several problematic parts which needed replacing.Sorry to say that they are still as incompetent a few years down the line. I am gutted as this is the closest garage to me but convenience is not always best!Experience a few years ago;Went here for an MOT and got told I needed new rear brake pads and discs. They ended up doing the front. Not only did they do this when it wasn't required but they threw away my manufacturer shims. Went back 3 times to get this sorted. Each time I was told they had fitted them only to have them checked by another garage and be told this was a lie. Ended up having to go through the area manager for a refund and was only given a partial.

Honestly the worst garage ive ever used. I asked them to do a full service and fuel filter including logging it on the Audi digital service log... which i didnt think you could go too far wrong... A week later i had intermittent lag issues and an engine management light on.When i took it in the garage, the manager was clearly stressed and treated me like i was a huge inconvenience, despite the fact I use the car daily for work and he told me he couldnt look at it for a week.I told him at the time i do not feel valued as a customer and that i desperately require the car for vulnerable adults and emergency situations daily. To his reply 'what do you want me to do? Every garage locally has a 6 week waiting list'.Tia was the only person i thought was any good and that's because she's on the desk and booked the original appointment.I have now taken it to another garage who saw me 2 days later and fixed the issue that day. Also, they showed me Halfords had not added anything to the digital service record.Genuinely dont waste your time and money with these cowboys, and find a professional garage that respects your custom.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My alloys were damaged by HALFORDS AutoCentre Surbiton when they were fitting three new tyres. Tried to tell me it was curb damage and was there before the new tyres were fitted and they apparently have photographs to prove it. Funnily enough, they cannot provide me with this photographic evidence? I recently took my car to Halfords Autocentre Surbiton for a service, and I must say, if it was not for Tia on reception, I may have taken my car elsewhere. I am extremely fussy as my BMW is wrapped in expensive vinyl and I am very cautious of how certain dealers look after vehicles. Tia assured me that my car would be looked after, and that any parts needed to be replaced would be offered to me through a manufacturer service using only original equipment or equivalent parts, which really appealed to me. She called me during the service and explained in detail what my car required and was also very helpful in providing information regarding payment plans too. Will definitely come back to Halfords Surbiton again!

Booked in for an MOT and needed two tyres replaced. Excellent customer service, really couldn?t rate them highly enough. Polite, professional staff. Jean and Tia in particular, all kept me fully informed and saved me well over £150 on my usual price for tyres.Cannot recommend the Halfords Motoring Club highly enough. Receptionist can sometimes be a bit grumpy, but the services are very well priced and I've never had them try to upsell me anything the car doesn't need. MOT always been very fair and I recommend them to my friends and colleagues
