Just wanted to give all the staff especially Zainab a massive shout out. My partner and I had our toddler with us and they were so patient with us as we juggled our test and choosing glasses whilst dealing with him. Zainab was amazing at helping me choose glasses too! Thank you!

Dee is amazing! I had heard bad reports from local friends about Surbiton Specsavers. Since the changeover of managers from the previous Scottish manager, the feedback I was getting from friends was poor. However I decided to get my regular eyes test done there as I?ve been a loyal customer for years and always had amazing service. However on the day of my eye test I discovered that there either isn?t enough staff or that they book too many people on at once. No one had time to help me choose new glasses after I got a new prescription! So I left. A few weeks later I went in and looked at new frames. I actually chose a pair but I could not get one single member of staff to help me. They were all occupied. After standing for 10 minutes at the welcome desk with the frames in my hand, I took a photo of them for reference and put them down and left the store. Not a member of staff spoke to me in the 15 to 20 minutes I was in the store. A few weeks after that I went back in and I couldn?t believe it but the same thing happened again. Not a word from anyone. So I decided to give them one more chance for my custom and I went in on 4th March, for what was going to be their last chance to keep me as a customer. I was pleasantly surprised to have someone acknowledge me who went and advised another member of staff I was waiting. The lady who came to see me turned out to be wonderful. Her name is Dee and she is a credit to Specsavers. I ended up purchasing three pairs of glasses. She took time and worked out the best deals available to me. I left the store feeling glad I gave them one last chance. Dee redeemed Specsavers Surbiton for me. Since then I had a last minute cancellation of my appointment to collect one of the pairs today after changing plans to make the appointment time they could give me. However, at present I am still a satisfied customer all thanks to the wonderful Dee. She deserves 5 stars but I could only give 3 for my overall experience. Let?s see how it all pans out though??..

Got 2 collection appointments cancelled as glasses were not ready but got them just before my trip, only THANKS to the team at Surbiton branch. Was very unhappy initially with the delay but actually realised that the branch is very busy and they did everything they could to resolve.

Great service from Olga who helped me choose my new glasses , and Alex who did my digital retinal photography and also adjusted my existing glasses. My eye test was carried out by Krupa who was absolutely amazing and thorough, very professional and knowledgeable . Thank you Krupa for your help and the steps you took to ensure I get seen by a doctor as soon as possible after your assessment.

Thought my kids appointment was at 10.30, but got to there 20 mins early. Went in and was told to come back, without them checking their system. Came back and was td the appointment was at 10.15 and no time for one now. A 30 sec check on their system when we originally turned up would have solved this. Especially with what looked like 3 staff doing nothing.

Was given what turned out to be a totally incorrect prescription. Spent money on two pairs of glasses which are now useless to me. To their credit they retested me and I expect the second prescription to be correct. I wouldn't be as irked as I am if I'd at least received an apology for my time and money wasted. Also I was given conflicting advice by the two opticians and I felt a little patronized by the latest one when I asked polite questions to clarify her thinking (which is reasonable given it contradicts the first).

Very unhappy with this service, after me telling them "no contact" they did the opposite, they did a few tests prior to the actual test but couldn't even get those right, and all through the time I was there the staff totally disrespected me by using my first name which I hept correcting them on. All in all a very bad experience, I wouldn't want to go back to them again!

Giving me confusing advice, the black girl gave me contradictory advice then the nurse and caused me stress and suffering. She is newbie don't trust everything blindly like I did.
