We seem to live in an age where companies provide adverts promising the most amazing service when the reality is far from it. I stopped using Curry's a few years back after repeated disappointments from the staff. Not just once but continually. After the recent (rather ridiculous) TV adverts (eating pages of information, women with beards - and now "the font of all knowledge") I thought I'd give them another try. No difference whatsoever. I'm sure the staff actually make a concerted effort to walk away if they sense someone approaching. When questioned they haven't a clue. Oh yes, and they never seem to have anything in stock. What do these people actually do? And I have now seen a news report about customers having bought online are now receiving empty boxes. When they complain the receive no help from Currys. I suppose there are enough suckers around these days to believe the advertising. I go to John Lewis now. Amazing staff.

Felt so sorry for the one Manager running around trying to please every customer being so polite to both customers and staff. Black manager with flat top hair and large glasses, the old male staff member (supposedly with carphone warehouse) and the fat staff member on the lap top desk seemed to take great pride in telling the manager he couldn?t help anyone but was happy to point out he had a large que. This manager is definitely not paid enough for the effort he was putting in and as a company should be ashamed of how they treated their staff.

Purchased an Apple Mac laptop here which was barely used and died 2 years later. Taken to Apple who informed me it was Hardware failure and should be taken back to Currys and claim repair under Consumer rights law. Situation explained to manager who began to interrogate me, he then tells me it?s Apples responsibility to sort/replace it as it?s an apple product and refuses to take it. I remind the manager that as Currys has sold the product they hold the burden of this. I then drove to Greenwich Currys who were more than helpful and took the laptop and fixed £800 worth of faults FREE of charge under the consumer rights law.

Needed help to find a cable i needed and got advice on which type I should purchase. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would have been 5 stars but there was no one on the tills and I had to wait until a member of staff came along.

If I could give 0* for service at this store I will. One poor man was working alone at the tills and when I asked the manager if he could appoint more people to help he said ?i don?t have any extra bodies m?aam? yet he proceeded to have a chat with 3 other staff members. Appauling service

Very bad service waited nearly 30mins for someone to speak to. Staff that was free ran towards the back just not to speak to customers. They need to sort this out.

Good luck finding staff to help you. Everyone is trying to rush you out the door with your purchase. Store is huge and has a good selection, however most staff are clueless

Saima was very helpful, she even helped me loading two TV?s to the car, even though they were male employees at the shop who couldn?t be bothered.

Will never use them again. Ordered something for click and collect. And got an email for cancelling the order without any explanation why. And had to wait 7 to 10 working days for a refund.Edited: I actually ended up waiting from 23/11 until 7/12 to get the full refund. I had to call every day to speak to them and ended up requesting managers call back as I was not getting any help. Online chat absolutely useless.Never ever currys again

The waiting time to be served is absolutely ridiculous. Was here last week to buy a washing machine took about 45 minutes to be served only to be served by a new attendant who does not have any knowledge of the product and same thing today took about an hour on the queue to just a pay for a charge. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great experience at Curry?s PC world. Ordered two large appliance with the help from their friendly employees. They gave me discount even though I didn?t ask for it, which is super nice. I would prefer to shop at Currys compare to other competitors since they have the best customer service.

Went to look at a TV to buy in store or view one to purchase online. Almost all of the TVs in my size range were turned off and when we finally found an assistant, we were told there was no way to demonstrate them as thay were not working or no remote was available. I left without purchasing a TV. Bit dissatisfied and disappointed.
