Paid for next day service and had to chase my order six days later. The person on the phone said it had been "overlooked". Firstly, that person who ordered the photos and the person picking up was different so couldn't email. Then corrected himself and said "we've had so many orders so this was missed". Very poor service.

Went to get a passport photo, staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced. Photos and download ready almost instantly. Excellent service, would recommend using this service.

1.Wife needed new passport photos2. I had taken her photo in a home studio environment and then cropped and templated them onto a 4x6 jpeg at 600 dpi, ready for print on SD card.4. The jpeg has 6x duplicate passport photos at 35mm x 45mm on a single 6 x 4 jpeg.3. I asked my wife to go into snappy snaps and ask for an instant 4 x 6 on the kiosks, and it should not cost more than £1.20.4. She handed the SD card over and asked for 1 - 4 x 6 print as per the jpeg on the SD (there were no other files).5. The assistant then started to ask, do you want it landscape or portrait? Is this a passport picture you require? Which country is the passport picture for? All questions that are relevant to prevent any mis communication in printing.6. She then asked for £7.99, my wife paid by contactless and left.7. At home I questioned why she charged her £7.99, my wife was unsure, and I said to go back to the shop the next day and explain why it was so high.8. She went back the next day, and was totally shrugged off and said this is what she asked for and that she had made a mistake, she could not understand why she had been charged for a passport photo, nor could they give her a suitable answer to her simple enquiry, when all we wanted was a 4 x 6 instant print?9. She handed the phone to the manager Sonny whilst in the store, and he could not explain too, and refused to refund her back for mis selling her a product.10. I explained that, I had completed the ground work at home on Photoshop, created the format and template for the JPEG to be printed as a 4 x 6 instant print, we did not ask for anything other than 1 print at 4 x 6, he could not give me an answer of why she was charged £7.99 rather than your advertised instant single print for under £1.20.11. My wife left upset, humiliated and embarrassed, as one of the staff muttered to another customer on what was going on, not the type of service I would expect from an established high street brand.12. I can confirm that I had visited Boots later that day, and they provided me with what I asked for, a 4 x 6 instant print for £0.48, the print quality was no different to what my wife received, nor was a specialist photo media used to print either prints?I will like a follow up to the review and will request I visit the store and return your mis sold product and have it refunded.I await your response.

I went to the Snappy Snaps branch in Denmark Hill today. I had to have passport photos taken and I was dreading it. I was greeted by the female photographer who put me at my ease immediately. She was very professional and the job was carried out expertly and in no time it was done. I wish that I had found out about this excellent service earlier. She also set it up so that I can apply for my passport online. The young woman at the till was also helpful and friendly.I am going to tell everyone I know about this service and this branch near Camberwell Green.

I wish I had gotten the man's name who helped me. I came in with a frame and a few photos to shrink to the right size. He took the time to measure the frame and resized the photos to the exact size, making both uniform. One was also a non standard size photo and he cropped it perfectly to fit the square. And to boot he recoloured a black and white photograph !! Not even requested. They were photos of my husband's late mum who passed away 19 years ago, my husband will love the keepsake and it means a lot to me the care that was taken in this fiddly task. But I didn't even tell the shop assistant the story, he just did those things as standard. Wish I could give a better rating, this kind of customer service is a thing of great beauty. In a world of digitised photos and online ordering, this kind of customer service shows that bricks and mortar stores are still relevant and valuable.

Not sure how long these places will last in this economic climate but its great to have these in the High St still. Efficient with a great range of printers and tools. Helped me out of a tight spot a few times
