Not As Competitive As Before. Very Limited Customer Service ànd Unresponsive Staff. Long Queues At Both Staffed Service Checkout (Only One Open.) Self Checkout Was Overtly Busy, As There Were Only 4 Checkouts Open.

Female employee with red hair (didn?t get her name) who claimed to be the manager. Is very rude, has no customer service skills and is racist. Should not be a manager of that store, set?s a bad tone and environment for customers and a bad example to other members of staff.

Sorry but you charge people £5 TO PICK UP THEIRE OWN FOOD?!?! Thats bloody disgusting. £5 to attend the shop and pick up the for they've already paid for online. I could understand a small service charge of £1 or £2 but even then it would still be a bit of a piss take especially when i can spend £40 anywhere else and have my shop DELIVERED FOR FREE.

What is the point in having all the new self check outs if they have a maximum of 5 or 6 open.I?ve been in numerous days at different times and it?s been the same. Leaving long queues.So silly.

Was in the store on yesterday afternoon and I used self service and what a helpful wonderful lady who took the her time to explain how to use the till with the shopping I had. Very smiley and considerate. Nice to see a friendly face when shopping. Will be returning again.

1.Staff is frequently abusing and even assaulting clients, esp.racist old woman with purple hair at the regular till (screaming at clients regularly without sense, struggling with basic operations -underlying mental health issues!!!?, another old one too-bleached hair and glasses) and african younger male with long loose braids(on self checkout tills) entertaining likewise females especially, but insulting all other and is verbally abusing non-african children.2.So-called security guy (old african) is regularly touching and abusing unaccompanied non-african children/school children, targeting nonblack women and children to force himself on them around the store floor. Along with 2 other mentioned, they racially abused and physically assaulted by pushing and hitting disabled woman and her mixed race child today. Recorded with body camera and reported to headoffice.3.Self checkout tills are ca.12 , maybe 4 small ones work at all with split payment options, instead of putting 2 rows of those with larger load space and allow medium trolleys back LIKE IN ALL OTHER ALDI stores.Avoid Aldi eso. that nextdoor Morrisons upgraded tills to 40 and range to cost efficient own brand tremendously.

Wow 1st time in the new big store lovely and spacious great selection. Wheelchair friendly loved the selection of vegan plant based selection.
