There were no plugs next to the bed which is baffling but other than that it's nice and clean, pretty cheap and a ten minute walk to the tube.

Gave a 3 star rating as I wanst expecting a huge amount from a travellodge but the first room we had clearly hadn't been cleaned or made up, still had towels on the floor and bed a mess. This didn't fill me with confidence but got a replacement room from reception, and this one was ready for guests to stay in.The room itself was OK, functional, and usable, but that's about it.Carpark was very restricted due to building work so many spaces were used by skips and people had parked like Absolute idiots making it rather difficult to park, however the parking was free so cant complain too much.

*3.5 stars*The hotel is in the middle of nowhere (the second to last stop on the Northern line) near the outskirts of London, so I wouldn't recommend tourists stay there, even if the prices are slightly cheaper than the Travelodges nearer to Central. I had previously stayed in the Travelodge in Wimbledon Central, which was much nicer. This Travelodge had better breakfast and a trash can in the breakfast room (I bring the latter up because the Wimbledon Travelodge lacked one, which was quite strange & awkward), but the reception area, stairwell, etc. was less nice.A man set off the fire alarm multiple times at 5 am one night I stayed there, which was annoying. I wish the receptionists had been able to make an announcement telling everyone that it was a false alarm. Moreover, Wi-Fi wasn't free, which made doing work there much harder. It's ridiculous that you pay 40 to 80 pounds per night, and they can't give you Wi-Fi?!In conclusion, it was a nice place to stay for a few nights, but I wouldn't recommend it unless one has business in that area.

Perfectly acceptable Travelodge. Not many parking spaces available but easy to find free on-street parking in this location. Room was a little dark but clean and well maintained. Did not have any meals here so cannot comment on catering. Rooms facing on to car park are fairly free from traffic noise.Stayed again in January 2024 and not much to add to above review. Received a friendly welcome. The room was warm even though the outside temperature was minus 5. The wall mounted TV is exceptionally small and the desk chair is very uncomfortable.Noteworthy details: Give the food a miss here. There are plenty of choices nearby for any time of day and a decent sized M&S food store only a two minute walk away. Also worth noting that the hotel seems to struggle with providing hot water for showers at busy times like early morning and late evening.

First time I've ever sent one of these reviews. However, my recent stay at the Travelodge in Whetstone, London was bad enough to warrant one. I booked in for 2 nights (Thu 4th & Fri 5th January). I have to say the trouble started from the moment I checked in on Thursday evening...Upon arrival at the hotel, it would be wrong to say I was greeted at all. The staff were cold natured and blunt throughout my stay, only speaking when spoken to. Even then, their responses weren't overly courteous.Upon booking my stay on the Travelodge website, I was asked if my use was due to business or leisure. I was staying in the area for work, therefore I chose business. When I finally got to my room after a long working day, I was greeted with the news that the Wi-Fi costs £3 per 24 hours?! My phone informed me that I was being done a huge favour with the provision of 30 minutes free Wi-Fi, before it was cut-off and a dialogue box attempted to make me pay. All I can say, is it's lucky I was only here for 2 nights and have a large allowance on mobile data, because otherwise I'd be posting my invoice to Travelodge to cover my increased data usage. How can a hotel room be sold to someone staying over for work in 2024, without free Wi-Fi? Unless someone in management decided this was a nice additional way to line pockets from all the workers, unfortunately condemned, to stay in a Travelodge. My stay included breakfast for the 2 mornings I was in the hotel (when I say included, I mean I had to pay around £10 a day for this privilege). My work required me to start on site at 8am both days and was a 20 minute drive from the hotel. When I got up on the Thursday and went to enter breakfast at 6:55, it was closed, I was informed (only after asking, see previous comment about no-one talking to you unless spoken to) that breakfast opens at 7:00, so I waited 5 minutes. 7:00 came round and the barricade blocking breakfast was still in place, until another guest pushed past. This stayed in place until at least 7:30.Once in the breakfast area I had to peel the cling film off the milk and some other food items myself as this remained in place. I made myself a bowl of cereal after removing the cap to the dispenser myself. I sat there as the hot food slowly trickled out, it was around 7:30 when the full selection was finally available. Therefore, breakfast starts at 7:30 means that's when they start cooking, not when you can eat!I am a vegetarian and vegan sausages are on the menu, pretty much the only exclusive veggie/vegan item on the hot food menu. I ordered some of these, the lady went off to put some on for me, then appeared less than 30 seconds later to apologise that they had no stock of the Quorn sausages.Fast-forward to the Saturday morning. I had timed my arrival at breakfast so that I was not early again, this time arriving at 7:20. Breakfast was closed again. I asked at the counter (if I'd have waited for them to approach me and explain I would have been late for work!), I was informed that breakfast starts at 8:00 on weekend days. As mentioned earlier, I was due to start work at 8:00, therefore I had to leave without the breakfast I paid for.In summary, I had no Wi-Fi, no breakfast on Saturday and none of the main item I was looking to eat on the one breakfast I did have.Safe to say I shan't be staying at Travelodge again.

Great location with free parking and good transport links to west end. ( straight through northern line to Tottenham Court Road, Charing Cross).Rooms large and clean but VERY COLD. Our assessable room had no sockets near the bed and nowhere to position my cpap machine other than the floor. Our wet room was freezing with no form of heating in it at all. The breakfast all you can eat buffet only offered scrambled eggs no option for fried etc. Even though the cook was on site. All in all a hotel with some very good points let down by lack of thought by the operators.Rooms: Clean and good size.Walkability: Local tubd station about 10mins steady walk away.Food & drinks: Good selection of eateries near-by.Noteworthy details: Easy access to West End theatre areas.

We stayed here December 2023, don't stay at this Travelodgewoke up to have a shower we had no hot water, lucky we had hot water by evening.Paid for breakfast that was a disaster only toast, yogurts and hash browns. We complained and asked to see manager, and there was not one in, just gave us a email address to complain to.After complaining sending photo evidence, i get a refund of half the amount we spent on breakfastFound the staff at reception and bar area not very professionalthe answer to most questions was we are having problems at the moment, you bet they are but it needs sorting out.We shall never stay at a Travelodge again

DO NOT RECOMMEND ! FIND OTHER ! Low quality hotel with very cold rooms and window cannot be closed properly (wind blowing). When i asked for another room , they tried to tell me that they are full, after i called callcenter ,open ticket and threatened them with lawyer , they magically found 3 rooms (also cold). Reception told me to call at callcenter , callcenter told me to talk with reception , reception told me to write to customer support , I opened ticket on site and support said that i need to talk with reception.

Waited 25 minutes for service at the bar for a single drink. No one else was waiting... then it came to order food and was left waiting another 35 minutes, again with no one else waiting to order. Barman kept going into the back. He was completely not interested in his job. Terrible

It should be made clear when booking that the parking is extremely limited. "Free parking" implies a normal sized car park on site. I was woken up at 7.30am by the receptionist banging on the door asking if I was the owner of the car inevitably blocking someone in etc. Not amazing for nearly £150...
