Very bad experience today went for the bike check looking to book big repairs on my bike, the guy was rude to me, gave me a quote but said he couldn't book my bike in and just said he didn't have enough staff so I had to try later, he was really dismissive .I had some good experiences there before, in that place but this is the second time I got a really bad service, I won't be back and stop sending friends there.I went somewhere else got all repairs I was quoted and more as they spotted other problems for a lot less than the price Halford asked on the quote .Beware they are not cheap and rude , support small business instead you will be treated properly.

I booked an appointment for today to get my Bike Checked and was served by Amy. As soon as I joined the queue she was already Helpful & attentive from the start. The system was down so she had to do all the paperwork by hand but kept very professional and done all the checks on the bike to a high standard. Judging how busy Halfords can get especially with repairs all of the staff in that section from what I saw do an amazing job and you can tell that they know what Thier doing. Overall a very Good experience for my first time getting my bike serviced in Halfords.

This 5* rating is purely because of the exemplary service I received from Amy when collecting my bike and accessories. She?s very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. She was pretty much running the store, constantly being asked for help by other staff members. She deserves a promotion/pay rise.

Lack of stuff. We have waited more than 45 minutes only to ask some information about bikes for our boy! Would not repeat at all! See below other reviews as well, as apparently many other people experience the same! Your team seems like they are forced to work and no proper communication!!

Went today to replace my windscreen wiper, was told the wipers are fine just needing the attachment, the guy at till was very helpful I believe he is the store manager (turkish heritage, possibly). He even showed me how to check my engine oil and fill it, I am now confident in checking this in the future thanks to him! I really appreciate all the help, thank you again!

I went to Halfords and they helped me locate the tools I needed.I don't really understand all the bad reviews. Clearly at peak times the shop is understaffed and this did show on my visit. However being rude and generally complaining is just not acceptable by the public.Perhaps Halfords you could get a self check-out for people who are just picking smaller items up then that would leave staff more readily available for questions.Best,Jake

Poor service in regards to my windscreen repair. Had to waste my 3 days by keep changing my appointment due to sickness. All was told there is nothing can be done if the person is sick not a acceptable for a chain retailer. End of the day commitment, value for time is matters to customers. Lucky it didn?t cost me more because of these but it could of. Not happy

Many thanks to Nick at the cycle section. I came in for a free bike check on my Carrera Crossfire. I thought I'd better do something, as I had no front brakes!Nick spent a good half hour going over the bike, and even did a temporary fix on the brakes. He even pumped the tyres up for me.There's a bit of a delay until I can book the Silver Service that I need to have done to do all the bits that need doing, but hey.....I came in dangerous and left safe. Not bad service for the price, Halfords!

Wanted to purchase a set of roof bars for my car and was firstly recommended by a member of staff an Halfords own brand Part SET014. Asked if they could fit them but they refused. The store manager said they were too busy. I ask how long it takes to fit and he?s reply was that even though I have installed between 50 and 100 of these roof bars I always come across loads of complications when fitting them. Not a good sales pitch from the manager and so will not be buying the roof bars ?

My experience in that store is always awful. Unfortunately I purchased bicycle and bicycle care from them, which requires me to visit the store from time to time. Customer service from Bike department is non existing in that store. Men who works there are just not interested to help or advise or anything for that matter. It almost feels like they make a favour to customers that they are there. I?m shocked that Halfords allows staff to behave in that awful manner. Where is the management?

Unfortunately there is very poor customer service. As the communication is the key there is a lack of communication. You need to have spare time to spend in order to get your bike fixed.

Two very contrasting experiences when going into this shop. A few months ago I went in and the lady at the till was super helpful. She not only offered advice on certain products but even told me of the opportunity to save 5 pounds on a purchase. Fast forward to this evening, and it couldn't have been more different. I went in 30 or so minutes before closing time. There was barely any customers in bar myself. I paid for what I was buying and then asked the cashier a simple question or two about their pressure washers. He literally couldn't have been less unhelpful. Completely disinterested, told he didn't know about any of it, and that I should just go and look myself. You would've thought that he would recommend that I speak to someone more informed. But nope. He was just a fountain of lack of information and disinterest. How disappointing.

I haven?t had great experiences in Halfords in the past. I always try to find things by myself instead asking to an unhappy employee who doesn?t show any aim of moving a finger to help. Yes, that?s the 90% of my experiences in Halfords.However, when I find someone energetic who really helps I think is fair to be mentioned.I was searching for some car wax. A young guy called Dee walked by me carrying some stuff and I asked him for some advise.He stoped what he was doing and showed me various options and explain themvery well.Thank you very much Dee. You are a good asset at Mile End road Halfords.

Terrible customer service. Hardly any staff members to help customers. Finaly got to speak to someone after a long wait and they told us if we want to speak to someone about the bikes for sale we need to que up and re-wait to speak to someone.Long waits and unhelpful staff. After a long wait we left and didnt buy a bike. Very disapointing
