THis is possibly the only B&Q in london where is always a struggle to find wood selection, Is there noone in charge of the wood department? there are never small format timber, btuttons, dovels, trims, selection alwasy empty, sometimes takes un to 3 weeks to get any wood smaller than full size/pack of 6 or 8. NO WOOD TRIMS !!!! and when you ask if is possible to get a cut they say come back next week there should be few...there never are. sad and unprofessional.

Cameron in the kitchen design department is fantastic! He was extremely patient and helpful going through and checking every element of my kitchen design with me and finding different solutions that would work for my space. Taking the time to go through everything has made me much more confident in my kitchen design too.Vittoria has also been very helpful throughout the process as well.I would highly recommend them and the team at West Norwood branch!

Awkward vehicle access, especially for longer vehicles, vans, etc. Not a particularly large store and hence they don't carry the range of options as would a larger store. Interior feels 'compact'. It's OK if you're just after some commonly available items but not brilliant for full-range shopping. On two floors and we didn't spot a lift (we did look, but if there then we missed it), so brilliant for those with any mobility issues.

It?s only because this is the closest store to me that I have to endure the countless times I waste every-time I go into this store. There?s a proper lack of training with the staff so there?s always issues when buying/exchanging/returning items. I?ve resulted in calling in before hand to make sure I avoid a 5 mins job being 45mins but still end up being told something totally different when I arrive in. Ensure staff actually have some knowledge in this industry and are aware of the policies so this CORRECT information is given to customers!!! Or be accountable if not.

Generally helpful staff and good selection for a town centre DIY store. Could do with a lift for carrying heavy items from downstairs up to your car, it?s a bit of a strange arrangement if you have trouble lifting heavy items

There was only a couple of pairs of gardening gloves avaliable which was disappointing, not in general female sizes. The staff also were not knowledgeable of the deals going on in the own store.

Average B&Q, the parking is a bit difficult to find if your not local to the area, the exit route from the car park is more difficult, the area is very dirty and has lots of junk spread around, quite tricky to come out if you have a van or big car.

Mi visit to b&q was ok had wot I needed.But if you want to try a huge B&QMerton is the best DIY ive been to since the d I y craz started.Anything and everything you need is all under one roof. Thay have over 80 Iles.I'm living near dartford and I must admit it is a long way from home but I will admit I like the drive and it is well worth it.Thay have bigger ranges than any other b&q'sAnd we'll I was blown away the first time that I went there.If you have the time transport give it a chance and see for yourself.And it has a good friendly food truck in the car park?????

Fantastic customer service. I needed to buy a door lock and approached KV. I must confess his customer service was fantastic. KV was professional, proactive and polite. He helped me make a quick decision because he understood what I required. I had to return because I had forgotten to get a door handle and he immediately sorted it out for me. I noted that he also had a good relationship with his immediate colleagues who also made me feel like a valued customer. It was a really pleasant shopping experience.

Not very easy to find staff to talk to. B&Q should clearly empty a few more on the shop floor. Those I spoke to weren't very clued up about their own stock, sadly.
