This is my local PO so I unfortunately I visit frequently. My most recent experience was the trigger to write this review.I was posting an item for a refund. I told the older gentleman I would like to send it tracked and I ASKED FOR THE CHEAPEST OPTION. He clearly understood, and I therefore I trusted this was what I paid for. I checked my receipt when I got home only to realise he had sent the item special delivery, signed for, guaranteed next day delivery by 1pm.I felt scammed and taken advantage of because I had clearly asked for the cheapest option. An few extra pounds £££ is not a lot to everyone but at the time it was a lot to me.Overall rude and UNTRUSTWORTHY, avoid this PO if possible.

I have been to the post office for a transaction and the old man at the till didn?t want to serve me as he pretended not to see the correct information on the system. The man at the till was totally rude and disrespectful. Do not recommend at all. If not choice avoid being served by the man if you don?t want disappointment.

Really third rate. No eye contact, not professional, no idea how to provide a decent level of customer service. They obviously hate doing their jobs.

A very shoddy post office with inept and rude staff.This review is very similar to many other 1 star reviews left hereI tried to send a parcel but the staff did not want to accept it as the box was old looking. This is unacceptable as the box was sturdy and taped up very thoroughly.I think the place needs to be audited.

After all the reviews I?m so surprised nothing has been done, unfortunately the staff are rude here and I have witnessed them be very rude and angry to other customers.It has become an ongoing thing as I am a regular visitor, I always see people leave so upset. Something has to change.I?ve seen them get angry at elderly, speak rudely to people whose first language is not English - i do hope it gets better.It may possibly be the worst post office in London.

I bought a pre-paid special delivery envelope here. The price was around 15% more expensive than at my local post office.I then realised I no longer needed it, so brought it back without writing on it the next day, with the receipt.The lady refused to refund me. This is contrary to Royal mail's policy, which will refund an unused postage label within 21 days of purchase.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, so rude with customer, is the second time going there and the staff is just horrible, Royal Mail should not allow such thing.

Not had a problem with the postal service, seems first class but please don't trust the foreign exchange. Numbers on the wall don't mean anything and don't assume the first offer is correct. Their lunch was on us today.

I went to pay £800 cash to my bank account here. I had previously separated into 100s and counted it over to the cashier. As I was looking through my bag for my debit card she said "OK, £700, insert your card." I got stressed and started frantically searching my bag again until I remembered clearly counting the eight bundles and saying 800. On insisting she look again there was some theatrical fumbling before miraculously finding the last 100 under a bit of paper. Highly suspicious. Won't go there again.

I was reasonably worried coming here having see the reviews, luckily all I had to do was a DBS check and I had no issues. Can't comment on anything further.

The brief respite from the terrible service is over. Unhelpful counter staff insisted I had bought a "click and drop prepaid 1st class signed for" postage label and said I had to go to the local sorting office, 1.5 miles away, to drop it off. They couldn't tell me if it was open. Laughed about it loudly as I was leaving. When I went to the sorting office, the employee there said it was a standard prepaid label and that the post office staff could have scanned it in numerically. So there is one lazy staff member, bad at her job, couldn't be bothered to type in some numbers and sent me half an hour out of my way. This is one particular staff member, and she seems unaware that she is a civil servant, not a member of some exclusive snobby clique. Her rudeness is pretty astounding, given she is in a service career..I won't name her as that's a bit much and hopefully reading this she might think twice about finding customers a source of amusement when in fact it is her that is making mistakes, on a regular basis.This post office also manages to lose parcels frequently, which has never happened to me using any other post office. This branch has lost a Tracked and Signed For parcel of mine every year for the past 3 years. I have never had royal mail lose parcels using any other branch.
