Went in to deposit a cheque into my account, I was greeted by Janet straight away, who was very lovely and helpful with the process (never done it before) she gave me all the details/information I needed and reasured me that it will be sorted straight away and when should I expect the money on my account.It was less than 5 minutes, very happy with everything.

Very unhelpful staff. Tried to open children's savings accts at this branch. We were given long forms to fill out and when we took the completed forms back together with the relevant paperwork we were told the forms were no longer being accepted. Why give us the forms to fill out in the first place if they were going to discontinue them!! They then made excuses and said they were unable to open the accounts even though we had all the necessary documents and children with us. Not everyone has online banking and some people still require the services of a high street bank.

Customer services here are terrible. Couldn?t give them money if you tried. The staff are aloof, don?t care and aren?t interested in helping

I must say that the quality of service I have received from.Suzanne is absolutely first rate. I have had to use this branch for 5 years now and though I do not like the move away from traditional banking, whenever I have need in depth assistance, I have been professionally graced with a banker who gives me great advice and meaningful solutions, to issues that can be complex. Thank you very much.

I went into HSBC today to close an account and do a transaction! I was made an appointment and asked to take a seat! I say for around 7-8 mins, when Amanda came and asked if she could help me! In the 20-30 minutes I was with her, she sorted my transaction, and explained why I should keep the account! She also gave me good advice on opening another account with the branch and sorted getting the mobile app up and running on my current phone!All in all she was efficient, competent helpful and very friendly! I even asked what days she worked so I can make sure I come in to see her if I had issues! Thank you Amanda you?re a star!!!

That branch is now a Digital Service Branch so no counter service. When I needed to exchange expired bank notes they couldn?t help.I also had to use their cheque pay in machine (mobile app has a limit for some reasons). I realised that there is only one cheque pay in machine and not at the most obvious place next to other machines. You need to look behind a corner.

Closes at 2pm. Less and less service all the time. You cant even deposit coins anymore. You have to go to the post office. To deposit notes you have to have them in pristine condition or machine will reject them. What is the point?

Rude/unprofessional Staff and they don?t bother to serve you. I received a letter to visit the branch with proof of address to open a joint account. I went there at 4:10 pm and they were closing at 4:30. Amanda no bother to serve me and listen to me. I?m going to make a complaint as well but it was very disappointing and frustrating experience.
