Staff always appear to have an attitude problem . On the last couple of occasions I was made to feel as if I was a nuisance . Not very friendly customer service at all , obviously staff don?t get any training . Won?t be spending money in here again .

Great selection of cards, stationery and small gifts. Sadly the staff were not so good. Had to listen to them chatting extremely loudly about stuff that was more for when the shop was empty in my opinion. When I went to the checkout I briefly disturbed their flow as was asked if I had a loyalty card. Then it was back to chatting the whole transaction. I did actually get a goodbye but only because I think the young girl serving me saw my face. Customer Service skills definitely need some work- but as one of the three was no doubt the manager it would be to no advantage. Can't say if I'd use again- maybe if I looked in first to see who was there. We all like a chat but surely the customer should be the priority just for that brief time? No customer=no business.

The worst staff you could possibly come across to.. Very rude and childish attitude coming from mature ladies. I wish I?d be able to give 0stars as they don?t deserve any.

Always love popping into lorimers, the staff are always so lovely to me and my baby. Went in there today to get some card for my sons birthday card and was so impressed with the quality of the craft bits they had and the price was reasonable. I much prefer to shop there instead of travelling to hobbycraft. Great little shop xx

Much like other reviews. Fantastic range of toys but I refuse to support this business based on their staff. My daughter was taking a closer look at a toy she wanted to buy only to have it snatched away from her by the staff who was concerned about where it belonged on the shelf. Staff are in the wrong line of business.

Absolutely lovely range of products in this shop - gorgeous cards, fun toys, nice art and craft sets.But the customer service is really varied. Some of the staff are lovely and helpful but others are very abrupt and downright rude.I wish they'd sort out their customer service as this is a lovely local shop that I'd like to support more.

Staff are miserable and rude. I took my three year old ( well behaved) granddaughter in to choose a toy, whilst standing with her she picked up a toy and one of the ladies ( staff) marched over took it from her put it back on the shelf and said please don?t touch, she then proceeded to tidy up the shelves around us ( that were not untidy and toys still immaculately in place) she then stood in the isle watching us, I would have walked straight out but there are no other toy shops local. My granddaughter was not running riot or manhandling the toys she was standing right next to me, yes looking at the toys and touching but this is a toy department.

If i could rate this shop purely on its products, it will be 5 stars. unfortunately, the ladies who work there, think they work in the jewellery department in harrods. My son loves this shop, so we frequently visit. Im sure I have encountered everyone who works there now, and i can say only one is helpful. I have never been so uncomfortable to ask for assistance. Im sure, with a little adjustment in customer service, this shop could flourish. Service with a smile goes a long way.
