I had an appointment to day to review my Savings. Unfortunately, I was about 15mns late and the Lady refused to see me as she said it would take an hour and it would run into the next clients appt.From previous experience I was dealt with in 15mns.I do not understand why there is no flexibility with appointments.I was offered another appt for September, as she will be away or to speak to someone on the phone.This was my first trip out after a bad accident and the train times have changed thus causing me to be late.If the Halifax Bdg Society want to keep customers they need to be a bit more flexible.

I came in to ask about opening a savings account and all the staff were very friendly. In particular the assistant manager, Tilly, was really helpful and took time to explain all the different rates to me. She is a real credit to the branch!

Went in today and new manager appears to be a great asset. The lady on the counter was so helpful and understanding as I was quite stressed as making a very important transaction. The branch felt very welcoming but I have never had problems here, it is my favourite Halifax branch for customer service and friendly staff .

Service was really good and I wasn't waiting for long. Monika the extremely helpful cashier helped me with a lost/stolen card. She kept me reassured the entire time and explained the process.

Really impressed from service at Halifax Wimbledon. The team at Wimbledon was really pleasant. I was greeted at the door by a nice gentleman. Served then by a lady Monikia to make payment and cash out, also got to meet the new manager Curtis. Was really nice experience and impressed by service. Clearly listened to customer previous remarks.

Judging by the previous reviews, their service has not improved at all.Have been in about 3 times in relation to my mortgage with them and each time the service is so painful. Had to leave a comment, as they've gone too far this time when they advised me to get a neighbour or relative to witness my mortgage deed. The former is highly inappropriate during national lockdown, the latter is illegal. I would advise making an effort to go to another branch for advice if you are able to; you will save yourself a lot of time.

Went in to change the address on my neice and nephew's savings accounts. They ended up changing my address and leaving theirs the same. My brother now gets my credit card statements.
Not impressed.
*Edit - I've changed this from a one star to two star review as I went in to rectify the issue and the woman who helped me was very good and did apologise for the mistake.
