Went round the houses trying to tax my car. Spent 40mins on the phone to DVLA who stated there's no reason for a problem. Tried again, couldn't do it. DVLA advised p.o. calls their helpline, p.o. response... "we don't help". Walked a mile up the road, taxed my car first time.

Arguably the rudest, and most inefficient, post office I've ever dealt with -- in half-a-century.My best advice, stay clear if at all possible!The man running this horror show is a liar -- and borderline thief.They tried to claim that my foreign money order had never arrived, despite written notification from the central PO that it had been delivered--and signed-for by the very man behind the counter--earlier that day.Eventually they coughed up and gave me my money.Disgraceful. And not worth even one Trust Plot star!

Went in earlier today to pay in some cash into my Lloyds Bank account since P.O. is one of the authorised bank where you can do banking since the Central Road branch closed. The man at counter who served me was very unprofessional, rude and kurt and didn't even knowThe limit of cash I was allowed to bank into my account. Gave me a figure and then kept on asking me to put my pin number which kept on getting accepted. As he obviously doesn't know how to do his job, he started being aggressive! Then he just returned the money and said I needed to go pay it into Lloyds Bank!!! I rarely go there but previously have found the other cashiers just as bad and very slow but not as bad as the only man cashier they have. Avoid this place at all cost! Needs to either shut down or change of management

Please avoid this post office branch at any cost as the staff are very unprofessional. They wouldn?t give you refund for postal order even if you have receipts! But they charge for the service!!!

Today I went to get 10p bag equivalent of £5. When I came home and counted the coins it was worth £4.70 (47 coins of 10p). They are using old non-seald bags.Becareful with them.

The service here is simply bad. The behaviour of one of the cashiers is just unacceptable to be doing a role that need customer facing skills. The older lady who works as a cashier, needs serious customer service training, and remember the reason she is there in the first place.I went to get a professional document stamped and signed by them as proof of authenticity for my tutoring work. I had all the necessary material with me. She stamped and processed all documents but when she sold me the stamp, instead of waiting for a few seconds for me to insert the documents in the envelope and give it back to her to put the stamp on and leave it to be sent, she made me move away with rude arm gestures, not even a word to explain, and get back to the queue, just for me to put the documents in my envelope and stamp the envelope myself... It was incomprehensible but when I tried to say anything, she was having none of it. Very rude indeed.

This post office appears to be very unprofessional with few shelves and sellotaped counters with very money minded and poor customer service . I wouldn?t suggest anybody to have a great service in this Uninviting place.

Usually I'm the one giving 1 stars but today when I finally logged in to leave a review was surprised seeing the bad reviews. since autumn I live here, never had an issues with this branch (which is very unusual haha) & yes I ran into confusion abt the opening time myself but with pandemic around&being local I realised no point getting wind up abt it there will be another day...I go there every day, ladies are working hard, not grumbling ever I especially like the elder (sorry) one who always says 'madame put yr card in, madame put it on scale, madame' this & that, so very polite still in these days ;) thanks for your help to All, take care

Generally good but NOT open until 3.30 on Saturday. I went in at 3.15. When told that Google says it's open until 3.30 they just say that the post office is closed. If it was me I would get google updated. As I left another bloke was running in with a box no doubt to be told the same thing.

I really had a bad experience here. I have been to collect a parcel that been redirected from the DO, even though it says that fee applicable; as a PO worker, I personally know that they are not taking any fees for handing over the parcels to the customer since this pandemic.But these people have charged me 70pence as a open postage stamp, and gave me the receipt!!! Which is really outrageous!I haven't expected this from the PO assistance since people have a strong belief in the PO services and assistance!!! Still, they gave me some blind explanations when I tried to question about the charge!!!Even though it's a small amount, it bothers me a lot, precisely about the people!!!

Not at all good customer service, I went in today with pre-paid envelope to be posted (as part of my work), which needed to be posted as 'sign for' so ideally the prepaid postage price should be deducted from the total of sign for charge but I was refused and was asked to paid in full so basically I was asked to pay 2 x postage. Due to lockdown I am working from home so can not use our work postal services. I tried to explain the lady and she said we have stopped doing this since last year which is not true as I posted the same envelop with deducted pre paid postage couple of weeks back via same post office. They really need to be professional.
