Seem to find the smallest fault on phones as an excuse not to buy, instead of just saying no we're not interested they have you hanging around for an hour then come up with some feeble excuse not to purchase the phone, not impressed.

Very disappointed, tried to sell me a fake Samsung watch strap (online) took it back to a shop who as good as accused me of trying to return a fake item for something they sent as the real thing!Photo attached as to the piece of junk they tried to palm off on me!

Ridiculous service, brought a 2 month old Nintendo switch in to sell. Left it there for 40 minutes while they tested it, when I came back the customer service representative told us the Dock wasn't registering a signal and therefore they're unable to buy it.. we knew this wasn't the case it had been brought in in perfect condition. Got it back home and plugged it back into the TV, as we thought it is all working perfectly. Sold to cash converters instead. Would never go back here again and would not recommend to anyone.

I would highly advise people not to purchase from here or get tests done.i got a warranty test on my AirPods and the staff were absolutely useless. When I came to reconnecting the AirPods to my phone. I am not technical. I do not know how to do these things.I had to go in twice asking for the manager, but the same person kept on telling me the manager was not available. I had to seek Apple support, mainly because this door was not helping. I also went into many other CEX stores asking if they can help. They said I would need to go into the original store where I got the test because they are connected to the device.This was said by Apple support and cex workers in other stores through out the UK.So clearly , the staff just never disconnected my AirPods which caused me issues with tracking them.I have since lost my AirPods, and they have tried telling me that it?s not their fault basically. Customer service have been absolutely awful as well.I have since reported this shop to the police, hopefully they can do something about it. Literal fraud and unwelcome to help.

Worst scammers in Manchester,don't go there as they will lie about warranty that does not exist or you can't claim. Only go there if you want to loose your MONEY

I don't usually rate CEXs as they offer the worst rates and often don't help at all. This one in Ashton was particularly good. I went to sell an old phone after previously being given a low offer at cash generator. CEX staff handled the situation very professionally and I was made to feel like a valued customer. They were completely honest with me and told me the amounts and what was losing me money. They needed around an hour to test the devices and once I returned they gave me a fair price of over 100 and even renewed my account with them. Overall good customer service

Last time I will be shopping at any CEX.4 times in just over 1 month ( 2 store visits not including returns and general messing around with cleaning ect)Both times just from this store I've purchased 4 defective items.. and if you can't see disc rot, stop selling games and films.. I've had to visit this store and the Denton one 5 times in over a month in total to sort issues out. Petrol isn't free you know.

Bought a samsung z fold 3 for over 600 pound from this store which developed a fault in the screen dead pixels under the 2 year warranty i had it booked in for a test it PASSED !!! and was sent for repair UNDER WARRANTY, samsung wouldn't repair the phone for free, so I pressumed it'd be an exchange which is clearly stated in the warranty, they refused this and said they wouldn't be honouring the warranty and said I had to take the phone back I refused and contacted customer services who said a dead pixel isn't classed as a fault THEY HAVE NO MANAGER TO SPEAK TO!! i will be now taking them to small claims court and am in the process of sending evidence of all communications to an ombudsman DO NOT BUY YOUR GOODS FROM THIS COMPANY WARRANTY IS USELESS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON !!!!!
