Arrived here at 3pm, lovely welcome from Calum, on reception.Checked in room 113. Went to meet friends then returned around 10.30pm.Got into bed to find the bedsheets were damp ?. Further investigation revealed a urine soaked mattress!Went to reception, in our pyjamas, Calum apologised and quickly sourced another room for us. By the time we had packed up and moved rooms it was getting quite late. The bed had been changed, with clean sheets but the cleaner mustn?t have checked under the mattress protector. The photos say it all?..

Location is convenient enough to the main facilities of AuLGiven keys to a room that already had customers inside, Poor planning and management.Room can sleep 4 people and has 2 sockets which is considerably inadequate

Excellent receptionist and welcome with local tips. Room OK but slight smell of Hospital style cleaner. Bathroom ceiling flaking and noise from outside loud with windows closed. Beds comfortable.

Staff are very Good,I unfortunately Dropped my Keys for my Van on the way to Reception,( Many Thanks to Contracted who handed them in)The girl on Reception returned them to my Room, I will be Forever Grateful,Many thanks Dave Woolams ?

Rooms clean and tidy. Reception staff were nice and friendly albeit frustrated with their checking in computer system. Location good for me.

Nice clean room and bathroom, lovely and quiet with a pub that serves food within walking distance. For me the bed was too firm but that's a personal choice, my husband found his comfortable. Would book here again.

£113 to be kept awake by trams and traffic. Seriously the worst place I?ve ever stayed. The tramline was so close to the hotel I could?ve Hi5?d the passengers on the way past it was so loud it was like the trams were running through the room. The room was so unbearably warm you had no choice but to sleep with the windows open so you couldn?t dull the traffic noise The staff didn?t care when I raised my complaint it was just brushed off. If you?re planning a trip there and expect to sleep I?d book elsewhere I wouldn?t stay there again if it was free For the price they charge with no on-site amenities it?s disgusting Especially when you consider I stayed in a 3 star Marriott hotel recently on a Saturday night that cost £122 and that included breakfast Travelodge - sort yourself out

The Staff are happy & helpful. The hotel was fabulously clean everywhere. Due to location getting out & about was easy too with a tram stop just down the road. Great pub next door too for both breakfast & evening meals.

Stay here all the time as have friends in the area, but on this stay the room was looking tired with a dodgy bathroom door and light , curtains not the same length cigaretts burn in the net curtain, scuff marks on walls. I think the rooms could do with some colour and the bathrooms do away with the baths. But location wise it's ideal with metro just up the road.

Having checked in on Sunday 27th I left to visit friends.. upon returning to my room, I found I couldn't gain entry. Someone then shouted from inside the room I had checked into earlier, " wrong room, go away"...! some thing may have occurred and I had been removed from my room whilst out ! To find this out at 2:00 clock in the morning after a long day, was not amusing at all. The situation could have turned ugly if the people occupying the room were not understanding and patient. As we were both confused and I had just woken them up. The replacement room smelled of something awful, windows let in light in the morning so couldn't sleep. Appalling abysmal absolutely awful incompetent and very untrustworthy service . The night receptionist was helpful respectful and apologetic however the guy working during the day of 27th August, who handled my check in left a lot be desired in terms of a lack of courtesy, ( kept calling me mate) competence and professionalism. A terrible, exasperating and embarrassing experience at Travelodge .

Me & a friend stayed for long weekend & found hotel was def not a 2 ?? more like a five ?? couldn?t fault hotel in anyway staff pleasant & very professional everything was def 10+ very easy to commute to wherever we needed to get to from hotel very happy with are stay & will def use travelodge in the future

Easy to check in and a lovely pub serving food next door. The room was lovely and clean with an electric fan provided. The bed was too firm for me but my husband said it was comfortable so it's personal choice. Can't complain about anything at all and would stay there again.

Great pit stop for any area of Manchester being close to the tram stop cheap and clean with great staff around 15 rooms on each level. I?d advise asking for a room at the back as the tram can be noisy with a window open if at the front. It didn?t bother us but was noticeable

Friendly reception, clean rooms, convenient for Manchester and a good pub restaurant next door so no need to drive elsewhere to eat. Would definitely use again when we are in the area visiting family and friends.
