Vagrants on the doorstep 24/7 sometimes drunk, staff don?t care, prices are outrageous on anything branded. Disgrace of a supermarket.

My mates tell me I'm sponsored by ASDA, there's a reason why - this branch is great, has everything you need, open 24 hrs and you get money rewards rather than points, nuff said !

I appreciate there's a wholefood section for diversity but none in the frozen aisle. Hence no halal approved meat/chicken. Resorting to vegan meats. This is a waste of a trip everytime. Always resort to ordering online instead.

Waste of time, long queues at any time you go and the volume of the music. That loud you can't think straight, left without purchase will visit another store

Since when as the customer had to run round the store to get an item with a barcode on, because when you get to the till your item doesn?t have one and the checkout assistant says sorry you need to get on with a code on do you want this item, when I worked at Asda staff helped in these times. Really put me off going in my local store again. Wasn?t till this morning I thought about it what about customer service. There?s me apologising to people in the queue because it wasn?t my fault there was no ticket on it.

I would like to know why there were no poppy?s being sold at this store? It is a very important day/weekend in the British Calendar to recognise the sacrifices of the armed forces & there were none to purchase. Absolutely disgusted that you cater for everyone else but the people who wish to honour our fallen men, women & animals this is part of our heritage & history that once made our country great!!!

Dear ASDA Management,I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding the presence of beggars engaging in disruptive and uncivilized behavior at the entrance of your store. On multiple occasions, I have observed these individuals engaging in aggressive behavior, fighting, and leaving their belongings and clothes scattered, creating an uncomfortable and concerning environment for customers, including my family. This situation not only detracts from the welcoming atmosphere of your store but also poses a potential safety risk for customers. It's disheartening to witness such disturbances at a place where families, including expecting mothers, shop regularly.I understand the complexity of such social issues, but I urge ASDA management to take proactive measures to address this situation, ensuring the safety and comfort of all customers. Finding a way to assist these individuals while maintaining a safe and pleasant shopping environment would be greatly appreciated.I hope this matter receives your immediate attention and that steps are taken to rectify these circumstances. Your swift action would not only alleviate concerns but also reaffirm ASDA's commitment to providing a secure and welcoming shopping experience for all customers.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

my favourite soundbite:"Your staff members need to remember what their duties are and remember their station. They're not police officers!"Xmas eve 2022: same again. Quality check. (Again, not an issue). Device is not charged. Have to go and get another one. More time wasted (20 mins again). It?s getting less and less likely that I?ll bother with Asda going forward. I?ve just gone shopping again, and avoided Asda on principle. Another £120 goes to Sainsbury?s (KER-ching). Keep playing your silly little games, Asda!!!The review is written in full below:I was shopping with scan and go, and I got quality checked.Obviously this is not an issue in itself, but there were at least 3 members of staff scratching their heads and telling me over and over again that they hadn't been trained and didn't know how to do a quality check. I think I wasted at least 20 minutes waiting for someone to get someone else who didn't know how to do a quality check. In the end, I had to have my shopping re-scanned at a checkout. It's not meant to be like this, is it? Scan and go is meant to speed up the shopping experience, not slow it down. I have a job and need to work for the money that I spend in asda, don't make it hard for me to do so!To be perfectly honest, I've spent at least £200 in other stores since this experience. And all for what, to make sure that I'm not stealing?! If you're concerned about scan and go, perhaps don't have it at all?!On another note - why are there so few staff in the stores? With monotonous regularity you lot go to the trouble of shuffling all the products around in the store to drive more sales (yeah; we're not stupid!!) and I have to waste 15-20 minutes playing a game of "find the frickin everything!" and I'm quite disinterested in having my time wasted, to be frank. I try to ask a member of staff to help me find what I'm looking for and they're either nowhere to be seen, or don't know themselves!Last but not least (and I saved the best till last), these quality checks are really getting tiresome. On a previous occasion I had a hefty shop and I got selected for a quality check. I'd packed everything away very neatly, meat in a cool bag, bulkier items in those asda tough tote bags, etc. Last thing I needed was for someone to come along and disorganise it all for me. When I tried to avoid that from happening by starting to unpack items to the value of the quality check, I was shouted at by a jumped-up member of staff on a power trip: "LEAVE IT ALL EXACTLY AS IT IS, DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!!!" Needless to say that he didn't find any items I hadn't scanned (in other words, I'm not a thief!), and he looked disappointed...Thanks for making me feel like a thief, I am a registered healthcare professional and stealing simply isn't in my nature; let alone the fact that I'd lose my registration if I went around stealing...Also your staff members need to remember what their duties are and remember their station. They're not police officers!Xmas eve 2022: same again. Quality check. (Again, not an issue). Device is not charged. Have to go and get another one. More time wasted (20 mins again). I live 2 minutes walk from the shop but the staff are so rude and often ignore you at the scan and go that I opt for a delivery from a different supermarket so I can avoid this place.

Badly run. Empty shelves. Beggars always sat outside. Place looks run down. Quite pricey for some products. Never used to be like this. We now go to Morrisons or Tesco because you know you will get what you want. Avoid at all costs.

The worst customer services i've ever had. Rude staff who use foul language on the shop floor. Idiotic rules about where you can pay for certain items. Staff who can't even be bothered to make eye contact and even say Hello. I'll stick to Tesco if I don't want a bunch of remedials serving.

Just come across an Asian lady by the name of Ruksana who was working on Asda customer service desk. Tried to pay for a sandwich using the Asda voucher which I had, she then said with a stuck up face it won?t work. I asked oh would it not? She tried to scan the £10 voucher to try and deduct few pounds but it decline. I then paid for the sandwich using my debit card. As I was paying she had the cheek to say ? do you work for Asda?? I said no. She then very rudely commented ? oh I thought you work here because you seem to know what you?re doing? unprofessional, uptight, rude arrogant woman! Never experienced this cheekiness in all the years I?ve been shopping at Asda stores.
