Always in hirebase at Bolton for tools and equipment, two lads on the hire desk chris and james are really helpful everytime we visit, fantastic customer service even showed us how to operate a carpet cleaner we hired as we had no idea as never used one before. Both really know there stuff wether we are hiring a machine or a tool always very knowledgeable

Tight old yard, exit round the narrow streets can be traumatic if someone's parked amiss but the lads on the yard make up for it as they're a helpful team.

Wide and spacious shop with a variety of tools and construction materials, designed to suit anyone's needs! The products are also at a fair value, but the location of the place is a bit run down and it can be hard to locate.

I got there for 11.45 today and they closed and wouldn't let me enter! When I said its only 11:45 and I called to say I will be there.. was told they had to close early to clean up! Would have saved me the journey if the guy who answered the call said we will close before 12pm! Won't be going there anytime soon no matter how much i need the sand! Did not even bother to save the sand bag to give to me.

The worst customer service ever, went at 16.30 friday to do some returns. Bearing in mind i am not a tradesman, had over bought a few items so thought i would refund. Got to till only to be told ?we dont do refunds due to covid? what utter load of rubbish. Every single shop is still doing returns yes with restrictions. Also when i went to purchase i saw someone refunding so not sure what the difference is. Im not sure how much more cheaper or expensive they are the to the Other builders merchants but for convenience do not go buildbase they take your money and do not help. There is no sign saying during covid we not refunding so how is a customer meant to know especially one that never uses buildbase. These guys are frauds.
