Having given 5 stars for the purchase of a sofa I now find that I must retract it, ordered on the 02-01 this year and the wait for delivery was 12 weeks set for the 28-03 however the day before I received a call to say my sofa had been misplaced in the warehouse and would take 24 to 48 hours to find. Eventually it was and things were back on track for delivery on Sunday 02 of April between 14-32 and 17-32. At 17-20 I received a call to say my sofa won't be coming today as it's been stuck in traffic and other issues and would be called in the morning but no we had to call them. The customer support person that we managed to get to speak to was the most unpleasant person as he had no customer sympathy at all and his manner was very rude and sharp I won't name him but it started with a M. I can't speak to anyone else only email which can take 72 hours for a response, when I need to purchase anything else I'm afraid its not going to be from DFS

Staff very friendly and don't bombard you as you walk around which I like, although as we were there a very rude lady was complaining about having to wonder around and nobody coming to help her, we ended up buying our sofa here reasonably priced. The man who served us Dave i think his name was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. Definitely recommend.

I wouldn't give even one star the company running with such professional layer managers .Please remember these namesAngelaMarkUntil you did not sign the contract they are always available, as soon as they got you they not care anymore.I feel sorry for company that used kind of managers.If anyone one wants to know my experience I will provide everything with all documents.

The salesman was really good but the service after that has been appalling the delivery guys asked if they could borrow tools from me to fix the feet onto my sofa and then broke one of the screws whilst putting the feet on. They said DFS always supply cheap screws which is annoying when you have spent alot of money. On the second delivery they were 2 and half hrs late with no call to apologise and then only brought my table top without the base. Didn't bring a replacement screw or care kit for my sofa. I had to store a marble table top over Xmas worrying about it getting damaged and now it's been 1 hr over the 3hr delivery slot and still no sign of the base of my table and no call letting me know they are running late again. It then never came they arranged for a 3rd time then phoned me saying they have lost it and will let me know when it's found I've told them to just pick the table top up I've had enough now and will never buy from them again. I wouldn't mind this is the forth sofa that I've had.

Terrible customer service, sofa not as described when eventually delivered, breached their contract many times and not willing to put things right. We're having to escalate our complaint, would never trust this company, even the manager acknowledged their customer communication has not been adequate for the last couple of years now.

I am very disappointed with this company. I bought a full set of sofas and on the second day after signing the order I realized that there was a better option of sofas in the same store that will fit better to my living room. I tried to amend my order but I did not receive any support. Instead I just received buts and "you cannot do it"phrases. I cannot believe in 2022 a customer cannot modify or cancel an order. The Bolton store manager only gave me the option to pay £700 to be able to choose a different sofa. They only care about not canceling or editing the orders instead of keeping a happy customer. That means more future sales. I do not recommend buying anything from the store.

Placed an order on 30 September 7:40pm just before closing asked for clearance offer according to staff there was nothing left in stock in any store when came back home checked online and sofa was available on website £700 cheaper in clearance offer which i was asking in store so i placed an order from website and very next day in the morning requested them to cancel my order but at first they refused to cancel and told they can only cancel the order i placed on website but not the one placed in store. Because of all the mess and arguments over the phone with staff member i decided not to give business to dfs because of the service i was receiving, Next day got chance to speak to the manager and manager agreed to cancel both orders, received email from bolton branch that order has been cancelled but order is still showing up on website and no response from the branch not on email and not on phone call.Would not recommend to anyone for the service i received.

Ruined my brand new carpets during the delivery.I paid for the sofa assembly but they did-not assemble the sofa.Chasing the bolton store team but no response yet from their side.I would never recommend DFS to anyone

I ordered a 7 seater sofa and it got delivered with an awful experience.1) I paid to assemble the sofa, but no one came to assemble it2) The delivery team spoiled my brand-new carpets. Firstly they refused to take off their shoes, secondly, they refuse to wear plastic shoe covers.I had been trying to contact the customer support and they always say that the store manager in Bolton will give me a call. However, no one tried reaching us. My family had been visiting the Bolton store where we placed the order, but the staff refused to help us. It had been an awful experience

Kirsty was an absolute superstar, the term people buy from people is 100% true in this case we visited on a week day evening by the time we had agreed the store was closing so said we would return. We headed in and found kirsty she walked us through our order. We are looking forward to receiving our new sofa. And will update our review with information about the sofa. So far 5 star that is based on the service kirsty gave us. Thank you again

Great at seeking you a sofa but after they have finished detailing with you they?re awful!After saying the sofa would be on hold for atleast 12 weeks, because they can?t hold onto it we?re being made to receive our items after 5 even thought we specifically said we were doing construction on the house ontop of that we get no delivery time utter useless organisation!Ok now we?ve had the sofa delivered and it has all the wrong feet no holes for screws absolute disaster!

Came into DFS to try and view a couch in store which we came across online, however no showrooms had it in stock. Nevertheless Dave and Courtney were both extremely friendly, helpful and went out their way to find the same fabric samples and allowed us to view on a big screen in relevant colours. Dave was very knowledgeable about all the products delivering both pros and cons with the sofa to make sure we were making correct decision as it was our first sofa.Waiting on the couch now ?
