“Very good shop. Free car wash is a bonus. My only complaint is there's a 2 inch gap inbetween the ceiling and the top shelf in front of the window letting sunlight in. Surely they could get another row of sweets up there!??”

“Always go here, will drive out my way even if I am closer to another petrol station. Premium unleaded fuel, prices are always reasonable.Carrs pasties always in stock or a short wait for more.”

“Stopped by to pick up some things from the Tesco here. It is medium-sized and has mostly what you might need. Even has self-checkouts!Definitely a plus for a petrol station store, they're not usually too big so it's neat. Albeit I don't visit too many petrol stations when travelling, though from what I have seen, this was a nicer station than usual.”

“Normally the cheapest for petrol and diesel in the town centre. They have plenty of fresh sandwiches and ready meals / meal deals and soft drinks / water / beer's and wine from the chill fridges within the pay kiosk shop. There is a small cash machine in the kiosk along with sweets chocolate chrisp / oils / brake fluids / screan wash and add blue for diesel cars. There is 2 x hand jet washing bays and an automatic drive in car wash, an airline for tyres they require a ticket with pincode number from the kiosk shop.”

“It's a petrol station. Not much more to be said except that too many people queue for ages so that the filler cap is next to the pump rather than pick an empty pump and take the hose round the back of the car!”

“They do sell a lot of various things, they have offers on, on many different items or things. They are very helpful, caring and polite and very professional at what they do.I bought Warburton's medium sliced loaf only £1.09 on that particular occasion they had many to purchase.I also got some dreamies, a coffee go Kat dry food newspapers and Scratchcards. The staff are very helpful, curtious, kind caring and very polite, they always ask is that all sir/madam to make you think in the event you have forgotten something, as at times I have forgotten things. The shelves and fridges are well socked and at various times I have nearly purchased a Carrs Paste or pie. the lovely thing is they keep all the varieties of pastie and pie in the large warmer, so that if you are hungry and getting other things you could get one of them.they also sell them frozen so therefore it is handy for people near buy and also if you are travelling. The coffee I mentioned earlier is from their Costa Express machine which is updated regularly by Costa with new varieties of Coffee. The prices of all their goods are not really expensive unlike some shops. My mum wanted the same item so I called in The Best One on Tonge Moor Road near Firwood Lane and Jenny's Chippy, but the cost of the loaf there, exactly the same item Was £1.50 and had a shorter shelf life date.I would always go to Firwood Service Station just off Firwood Lane and a little down Crompton Way you can always get your lottery there, Scratch Cards and purchase a Costa Coffee from the Machine. They have an ATM outside as well as selling petrol and other lovely goods, such as Carr's pasties, ice Cream, lollies and other household goods like washing powder, and cans of pop and Milk and Chocolate(s).”

“Morrisons is situated on off lea Gate, Harwood, and provides easy access with ample parking to a lively community with well stocked shelves, fresh produce, a convenient cafeteria, restrooms and various concessions that come with larger grocery stores. Wide aisles, reasonably clean - it works as a supermarket of this kind should.”

“Clean petrol station and good range of products in the shop. Has a cash machine and a Costa coffee express. Getting out and back on to the main road can be difficult especially at the busy times of the day.”

“Usual format for a Tesco Express at a petrol station. Product availability is a bit hit and miss here and many products associated with Tesco stores are not available. This is an Esso site and petrol is more expensive than usual Tesco and other supermarket petrol stations. Petrol at the Morrison's in Bolton Town Centre, a little over a mile away is around the 106p mark whereas here it is 110p.”

“The staff are always very friendly and helpful, although they sometimes lack knowledge of the stock available in store. That said, the range of products stocked is phenomenal for such a small store. I would have given it 5 stars except that they don't stock one single item from the Tesco Value range. It also has to be said that most of the staff have a very irresponsible attitude to the sale of alcohol; they are perfectly ok with selling spirits to people who are already so drunk they can barely stand straight, never mind walk a straight line.”

“Car wash is very good to use. Hoover pipe is small to take a lot of rubbish all at once. It would be nice to have the car wash covered so when it rains you dont get wet cleaning your car.”

“Quit a popular service station, so much so that the fuel delivery is quite regular guarantees that the fuel is fresh and having a higher level of octane (been in the automotive industry for 20 years so know my stuff). Prices are also reasonable may not be the cheapest prices in Bolton but sometimes it's not about the money. ”

“Certainly one of the better services running in the country. It's spacious, clean, well stocked and offers big names like Starbucks and Burger King. It's just a shame the toilets are left in a state of disrepair half the time.”

“I like Sainsbury's at Bolton, I much prefer this store to the Morrisons which is located across the way, the store is modern, has a good selection and also includes a Specsavers Opticians (I've never seen an optician inside a Sainsbury's before so that's pretty cool!). There is also a Lloyds Pharmacy inside. The location is good, it is close to a nearby retail park and Bolton town centre including the Railway Station. The store has a good selection in most areas, I particularly enjoyed their selection of 5cl spirits, a good double portion but also a good selection, I like trying out the mini portions before buying a bigger bottle of something especially for new drinks, they also had my favourite Dead Man's Fingers Rum. The staff seemed friendly enough, although there didn't seem to be that many staff on the shop floor, my overall shopping experience was quick/easy. The Free From range could have been better, and sadly they didn't seem to sell the Pots and Co brand of desserts which I like. Sainsbury's SmartShop allowing you to scan as you go is a huge benefit over nearby Morrisons as I love the feature to scan and bag items as you shop, it not only is a simpler and easier process, but it also saves time, scan the QR code at the till pay and away you go. 4* - Pretty good Sainsbury's store”

“I enjoy all Asda stores around Bolton and wish we had one in little lever , only problem for me is that the plants outside are poorly looked after , a lot of the problem for me lies with the watering of the plants particularly with the bedding plants I'm sure Asda are aware of this due to the waste levels ( dead plants ) why not introduce a course on caring for them or just a guide attached to the Dutch trolley which would also assist the customers ?????”
