I needed a front light bulb replacing, which is a very fiddly job on my car. I was served by Abu who after a short wait for the technician offered to fit it for me so I wouldn?t have to wait any longer. He was a very pleasant young man and I was on my way in no time.

I brought my kids bike to repaired to the bolton store today and the person on the bike desk was helpful and sorted the bike in no time at all really appreciated his help will definitely return

I'm afraid my experience at the Manchester road branch was appalling and I won't be in a rush to return any time soon. I ordered an item online for click and collect which was fine. Simple and straightforward. I received an email to say the item was in store and ready to collect. I arrived at the store and had to wait a long time for someone attend to me. They brusquely sent me to the bike desk to collect the parcel. The man at this desk was busy and looked annoyed that I seemed to be waiting for his attention. When I told him I'd been sent over from the main desk for a parcel he sighed and said he was busy and I'd have to go back there. so I did only to get a similar reaction from the original server. Eventually he went for my parcel and returned 10 minutes later with the wrong one so went back into the warehouse. another 10 minutes passed and he came back to tell me it wasn't there and hadn't arrived. I told him the email had told me it was ready for collection so it must be here. He then told me it had been delivered but needed to be signed in and only a manager could do that. He made no attempt to find a manger to help so I asked him if he would do so. He looked at me like I'd just trodden on his mobile phone (the one he was looking at all the time I was talking to him). Another assistant told him to just message "mike" and tell him to do it and eventually the box arrived and was dumped unceremoniously at my feet. It was a very large box and no offer of any assistance (not even to the door was made).The level of customer service was appalling. The staff looked as though they would rather be anywhere else rather than have to even talk to customers let alone "assist" them.I rarely write reviews but this has really gotten under my skin

Wiper blades. Easy job. Fitted myself but service was quick in and out then back straight on road, was helped by some halfords guy as I had baby in my arm in shop which made it easier.Downside is they didn't have pair of set blades, had by 2 single wiper blades.

Yet more disappointment with Halfords, I was only buying something online using Click and Collect and they still managed to annoy me, it would have saved me a lot of time if I hadn't used Click and Collect because I had to wait for the email and text to say it is ready to collect and then instore, a huge queue with only one person serving customers at 11am.The link in the email asking for a Google review for the Bolton store points to the Horwich store which is permanently closed!I only went there because I had a voucher to use, never again.

I went on their website and ordered a part, which they said was in stock and they took my money instantly. When I turned up to the shop the bloke on collection tried giving me somebody else's parcel. Then was told in the store via email they got it wrong nothing in-stock, I would get my refund.... I'm still waiting. They take your money straight away but don't refund it straight away. Bad business skills

Hi, I?ve had a nextbase dashcam ordered and fitted via Halfords. Less than a month later the camera has fallen off. I?ve went back to Halfords only to be told by Halfords that there is a problem with the sticky pads. My concern is that it?s not even hot weather, what would happen in the summer, will the sticky pads keep failing in the heat. Also if this a problem with your product as I?ve been advised by the customer advisor at Halfords, what is being done to improve on it. Really disappointed to have paid over £300 for the product and for it to fail this soon.?PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE, PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Just been into Halfords , Manchester rd, Bolton. To collect an ordered item.Four staff members stood talking at the counter. One of them indicates to the guy stood at the till that he has a customer to serve.He reluctantly turned to serve me though seemed more concerned about what he was missing from the conversation.He eventually got the order number right and went to collect the product. On returning he threw it onto the counter and stood typing something into the till as I stood there waiting (assuming he was going to say something to me once he'd finished)He eventually lifted his head to look at me stood there as if to say why are you still here! Then just said its done that's it pointing to the product!I think I'll find somewhere else to shop next time. I wouldn't want to inconvenience the staff there again.Terrible customer service!

Not a happy bunny. Told me my appointment was cancelled that I paid for my tyres on the Web and said it would take 7 days for the refund. Then I had to pay for my tyres again and wait for my refund ? update, finally got a message from Halfords and they are refunding my money back ?

I went to 02.02.2023 to check my battery cos of stating problem they check my everything alternator starter 100% The guy who checks for me (Nick)very very good ,,very good Halfords keep it up,,and price of yours also v.good
