Took my cat here to be neutered.. really wouldn?t recommend.they must of left my cat in his carrier for a long period of time if not hours because when we picked him up we noticed that he went to the toilet all over his blanket and it wasn?t like that when we dropped him off.We had to call for an update as they didn?t even bother letting us know how he got on..Two days later we had to take him to the emergency vets at night because of issues with his procedure. At a cost of over £700 and issues with his kidneys.Do yourself a massive favour and avoid here.If you?re struggling with money, vets for pets offer a payment plan and they?re miles more caring and professional.

RSPCA came to my home as I had an injured pet duck. They took it away, later informed me it was fully recovered. Since then I have telephoned them numerous times over an 8 week period and no one can tell me where the duck is or what has happened to her. She has ducklings waiting for her. I would never trust the RSPCA again.

Very helpful man on reception. Took an injured pigeon this morning (struck by a car ) , swiftly took the pigeon from me to take care of. Probably would have euthanized it as it had a shattered wing , but better that than let it die slowly alone, big thanks to the RSPCA.

We had to make the hard decision of putting my old mate Laddie to sleep yesterday after his declining health had gotten worse. One of the hardest things I've gone through but the vets made it very dignified and let him go comfortably in our arms. I also want to personally thank Julie on reception who I spoke to a day before. I called very worried about Laddie and whilst going through his records she pointed out that she didn't have all of his history as his last visits were out of hours in the Salford branch. Within 10 minutes Julie rang me back to tell me she'd been in touch with them and had obtained his records and scheduled his consultation for the following day. So thank you very much Julie and the staff @ RSPCA Bolton.
