Visited yesterday to return my child's old passport (in a small C6, 4.5 Inches x 6.4 Inches envelope) to HM Passport Office. I requested to send the letter via Signed for 2nd Class post and was quoted a price of £2.45. I told the person at the till that the post office website quotes £2.08, I was advised that my latter was classed as a Large Letter, I requested to use the Mail postal Gauge/Template which is normally available at the counter but was missing. The person serving me took the letter and behind the counter, out of my sight, tried to pass it through something and said it is too thick. I asked if the measurements have been changed recently as in the past I have returned passports and they have always been classed as Normal Letters, I was told that there has been recent changes. I did not wanted to argue any further for .37 p so paid and left. I checked the Post Office website afterwards which clearly states that Letters not exceeding: Length: 24cm Width: 16.5cm Thickness up to and including: 0.5cm Weight limit: 100g, are classed as normal Letters. They have tried, unsuccessfully, to overcharge me in the past but this time they were successful. I have kept the receipt and will endeavour to make a formal complaint as well.

I?ve used this post office since I moved to bury because it?s close to my new address. I like to have amazon packages delivered to the post office and collect from there, and if I miss a royal mail package I?d get it redelivered to my local post office. This post office has been a nightmare from the start. I?d get a text from Amazon to say the post office had my parcel. The post office would say they didn?t. I had a parcel redelivered to this post office. They initially struggled to understand that I?d had it redelivered. They then told me on the two occasions I came in, that they didn?t have my parcel and had nothing from Royal Mail that day. I was upset of course but thought there must have been a delay. The next day I called in. A different worker told me the parcel had arrived yesterday. It was there the whole time. The workers in this post office don?t seem to understand what?s flying. They all say different things. Disorganised. Not trustworthy. Will not use again. I?ll use a further away post office. I don?t need the inconvenience.

I've had parcel redelivered here a couple of times, one occasion the parcel wasnt there at due time and the lady behind counter was very helpful and offered to take my number to message me when it was there. Never had any issues using this branch as top my electric up there too. Always very polite

Long queues not being dealt with, 3 post office sections, more than one staff, not being utilised, result in poor customer service. Cheers
