Trying very hard to be everything to everyone and successful in some respects. Think Woolworth or wilko or even Debenhams which used to occupy the rather smart building in Bury's flagship Rock shopping area. I got exactly what i needed (curtains since you ask) and saw a few interesting other items.

Great variety of departments. A good selection of art supplies that are reasonably priced against other stockists. Bit of a cramped maze getting to escalators and leaving without a purchase on the ground floor sometimes, and not always a cashier on the higher floor. But I appreciate that they're fitting as much stock in as the shop space will allow.

Great choice of household goods all at very good prices. With a Iceland inside the same store . A must to visit.

It Very busy, but polite, friendly * welcoming staff. Was a bit overwhelming as it got a bit too busy and only 3 members of staff on the tills.

The worst staff. They hire lazy kids who clearly don't want to be there.?We don?t sell that here? - when asked about something.Can you check the system??No i cant because we don?t sell that here?. But its on your website and I?ve seen it here before.?No its probably online?.I found it on the shelf 2 steps away from them.

The range is great with lots of choice and also good for arts and crafts tools and materials. But it does irritate that you have to pay for parking. It's not expensive but it's a pain using those machines. You can get the cost off your bill, but only if you shop in the ASDA on the same location.
