Took my 2017 xe in for a vss for Sat nav update was told it would be about 3 1/2 hours.They kept the car for 8 days for which they loaned me a courtesy car.They could not get the update to work and once i got the car back the incontrol live ie weather news ect would not connect now have error code 012. If you are looking to update your incontrol be wary.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I took my range rover vogue in 3x now for the same problem. They said the master technician has had a look and updated the programmes and this is best we can do. I had been without a car for a few days everytime I took it in.Once they kept it over the weekend. The heater wouldn't work properly and in the end I ended up taking it to the Manchester land rover dealership. They fixed the fault in one visit and were very professional.I also used this vertu land rover for a service a few years back and they kept insisting my tyres and brake disks need changing. The lady said I was at risk of driving it even for 10 Miles if I didn't get the work done and they quoted around £1650.00.I refused and collected my car.I took it to another garage and they said no work is required for another 6 to 8 months.Another friend of mine has had a similar experience of been quoted for work when it's not required. Just makes you wonder if this dealership can be trusted.Some staff are so rude. They know you are waiting and they'll keep talking to each other and when you approach them after 15 minutes of waiting they say we know you're waiting, wait for someone to come to you. I just found that so unprofessional.I had another issue with the battery going flat. I called roadside assistance and they said i need to take it as there is a fault which needs to be seen to and the battery can go anytime. I drove the car straight to vertu Bolton and showed them the report.They said wait for it to go down again and only then they can give me a replacement car and look at the fault.I phoned head office and they got them to book the car in. They kept the car in for over a week replaced the in car control system as this was draining the battery they assumed.Battery flat after 2 weeks.I called roadside assistance and they said it needs be seen to again.I will now be using Manchester Landrover from now on.I will travel 20 miles but never am I going to use Bolton vertu Landrover again.I would advise everyone to stay away as they will only cause you stress and time.

It's a car dealership and that's all it is, but ...... the staff are great and polite. They don't circle you or pressure you and leave you time to look at the vehicles. I was impressed with David and Daniel who were respectful. I don't shake hands, and they respected that. It was a smooth experience from start to finish. It was good to do business with Vertu Land Rover Bolton.

Brilliantly operated showroom. The staff here are super chilled and make you feel comfortable with their products. There is no snobbery and you are made to feel at home.Special mention to Daniel who was our sales assistant, he was fantastic throughout.
