Terrible customer service from everyone in the cheadle branch. I bought a Xbox series X 4 months ago and the unit is faulty and doesn?t turn on. I called Argos customer service and explained the issue. They told me the product is still in warranty and to pack it up with recipient and head into the branch and they should be able to exchange the product. I wanted confirmation before packing the unit and making the trip to the store. Kindly the Argos customer service lady put me straight through to the cheadle branch. Gemma picked the phone up and I explained the issue. She said usually I would need to speak Microsoft but I said I have a warranty with Argos don?t I? and I bought the product only 4/5 months ago from you. To which she said that?s correct and it?s still in warrant y. Gemma then asked me is it Xbox series X or S to which I told her it was a X. Gemma then said you can actually get an exchange with that product and to come into store. Later that day I then packed the product neatly with receipt and headed into store. I was greeted not so nicely by Dora who looked at me in amusement when I explained the issue. She then said Gemma had just left and that she highly doubt that Gemma would of told me I can get a exchange or told me to come on branch. She then took the Xbox in the back of the store and had me stood there for 15mins. Then another manager comes out and says that they can?t exchange the product and that I need to call / email Microsoft support. I Then explained that I paid £450 for a product from Argos not so long ago which is still in warranty (12months Argos warranty) yet you guys still can?t help me. I don?t want a refund I simple want a product that works which I bought from Argos. To which he said sorry we can?t help you and give me the website for Microsoft support. I then asked why did his colleague Gemma who also seemed like senior management tell me that I can exchange the product and to come into store. To which he replied he?s not sure why she said that. Total waste of my time, no understanding or any form of customer service from the staff and I?m now £450 out of pocket with a product that doesn?t work. So much for a *Argos warranty* & I will soon be taking legal action.

Manager in this particular store quite arrogant. Bit of a Jobsworth!However other assistants very helpful.Will use other Argos stores in another location for future purchases.

DO NOT BUY TVS FROM THESE NO SUPPORT - BUY MEDION TVS FROM ALDI 43inch 55,58 AND 65 INCH ALL HAVE 3 YEAR WARRANTY ALL ARGOS TVS ONLY HAVE 12 MONTH !!!Purchased a Hitachi 58 tv from here 16 months ago for £400 foned them they ran me round in a circle for email,web chat, and waiting on a call, customer services are abysmal, doing my own research i found 9 out of 10 of these tvs all failed and stopped working after 16 to 18 months with the same fault , seems to be more than a coincidence when it only has a 12 month warranty , and they are still selling this model , DO NOT BUY THE HITACHI 58 INCH TV before you do google Hitachi 58 INCH TV reviews on trustpilot and read what they all say , STOPS WORKING FOR NO APPARENT REASON !!GO TO ALDI AND LOOK AT THE MEDION TVS THEY ALL HAVE A 3 YEAR WARRANTY

Phoned argos cheadle royal at 6.30pm on 12/4 to enquire over one of there products for sale and the gentlemen who answered the phone was excellent he told me everything I needed to know also when I called at the store 30mins later,The lady at the till was also very helpful, You don't often get this service nowadays (I would just like to thank both of them for the great service)

Great customer service. Took a shredder back that was faulty having lost the receipt. Martin the assistant was brilliant printed of a copy of the receipt, got a replacement no trouble, great service

Aiesha the manager of this branch of Argos went out of her way with her team of staff to help find a lost package, which was the couriers fault and she took more effort in tracking it than the delivery firm - Hats off to you girl ð??
