Excellent day out in nature for all of the family, the only reason that it doesn't have 5* is due to the food quality in the restaurant and how expensive it is, also the price to use the car park is too high, rather than charge by the hour or per car, it's charged per person in the car and cost almost £20 for a few hours visit.

Disgraceful.£16 for 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and a banana.Wouldn't mind but the floor and tables were dirty, chairs were uncomfortable. The place is generally overcrowded and has no character.

Cauliflower and Chick pea curry pasty, really? Blooming excellent, recommended. Twas very quiet on a wet Wednesday afternoon in February but avoid like the covid at weekends. All the money helps to preserve historic bits and keep unspoiled land unspoiled, so I don't begrudge the extortionate cost. And the pasty was delicious.Vegetarian options: Did I mention the Cauliflower and Chick pea pasty.... Delicious and Vegetarian.

A really nice cafe with a good selection of food. They had nice cakes as well as breakfast items which looked tasty. Staff were really friendly and gave great service. There is a large indoor seating area which was clean and tidy.
