I've used this post office a lot over the years. They are always very rude and unhelpful. I've taken parcels that they have told me weight more than what they do and give me ridiculous shipping prices, I've also taken pre-paid shipping labelled parcels that they refused to take even though its royal mail. Recently I took some notes and cash in to be paid into my bank, and they refused the coins. Gentleman was very rude about it and told me he wasn't the bank and to go to my bank instead. Was sat on his phone watching films the entire time. I have noticed they are very rude to older generations, especially when they are struggling. AVOID! Personally I prefer the beehive or new Chapel post office.

My worst experience in the post office. Rude staff. They are so unhappy to service public. I don?t understand why they still there if don?t like this job.

My experiences with the Winter Hey Lane Post Office have been consistently frustrating due to their irregular hours of operation. It seems that every time I make an effort to visit, the post office is inexplicably closed. Today's visit, on a Friday no less, was particularly vexing as I encountered another unexpected closure, this time between 1.10pm and 2.10pm.What compounds this issue is the lack of clear communication regarding their hours. Despite checking their website and any available online resources, I was unable to find any mention of these inconvenient midday closures. This omission from their online information leaves customers like myself feeling exasperated and inconvenienced, as we are left unaware of these irregularities.Customers rely on the consistency and accessibility of essential services like post offices. The failure to provide accurate and up-to-date information about their operating hours reflects a lack of consideration for the needs of the community they serve. It's disheartening to experience such inconsistency and lack of transparency when dealing with a public service institution like the Winter Hey Lane Post Office. I hope they can address these issues promptly to provide a more reliable and customer-friendly experience.

My experiences at the Winter Hey Lane Post Office have been a mix of frustration, disappointment, and concern. It's crucial to provide an honest account based on my encounters, so here's my review:The most glaring issue I've faced is the irregular opening hours. It's incredibly frustrating that the post office is often closed when I attempt to visit. To make matters worse, during my recent visit on a Friday, I was met with yet another unexpected closure, this time between 1.10pm and 2.10pm. What's particularly exasperating is the lack of clear communication regarding these hours on their website or online platforms, leaving customers like me in the dark about when we can access their services. But the problems don't stop there. During my visits, I've encountered unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The rudeness and dismissive behavior I've experienced make even simple tasks, like dropping off an Amazon return, a frustrating ordeal. This level of customer service is far from what one would expect from a public service institution. What shocked and deeply concerned me was witnessing staff members engaging in homophobic behavior, directing offensive comments and slurs at a fellow customer who was a member of the LGBTQ+ community. This type of discrimination is entirely unacceptable and has no place in any public service setting. In summary, my interactions with the Winter Hey Lane Post Office have been marked by irregular hours, unfriendly staff, and the deeply troubling display of homophobia. It's imperative for a public service institution to maintain consistent and transparent operations while upholding principles of respect and inclusivity. I hope the necessary steps are taken to address these issues and provide a more reliable and welcoming experience for all customers.

My visit to the Winter Hey Lane Post Office was marked by an unsettling combination of unfriendliness, rudeness, and a deeply concerning display of homophobia from the staff. This experience left me profoundly disappointed and compelled to share a more detailed account.Upon entering the post office, I was met with a lack of basic courtesy from the staff members. Their disinterested and dismissive behavior was immediately off-putting, making a simple task like dropping off an Amazon return a frustrating ordeal. However, what truly shocked me was the staff's blatant display of homophobia. As I waited in line, I overheard offensive comments and slurs directed at a fellow customer who happened to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It was disheartening to witness such discrimination and prejudice in a public service setting, and it added a layer of discomfort to an already unpleasant experience. Moreover, when it was my turn at the counter, I was met with further hostility. The staff member handling my transaction seemed to carry an unwarranted animosity, making me feel unwelcome and unsupported as a customer. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable in any service-oriented establishment. In summary, my visit to the Winter Hey Lane Post Office was marred by unfriendliness, rudeness, and the deeply troubling display of homophobia by the staff. It is essential for any public service institution to uphold the principles of respect, inclusivity, and professionalism, which were regrettably absent during my visit to this post office. Such behavior is not only disappointing but also harmful to the community it serves, and it warrants immediate attention and corrective action.

I have been a regular customer at Winterhey Lane Post Office for many years, relying on their services for mailing parcels abroad and local mailings. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed with the overall experience.Today, I went to the post office to deposit money for a charity account, using a paying-in card that was unfamiliar to me. I explained this upon arrival, and though I had properly counted and bagged the coins, notes, and a cheque, the counter worker didn't seem pleased to handle it. He proceeded to slam the money bags around, making it clear he was unhappy with the task.Feeling uneasy about the situation, I asked if it was inconvenient to deposit the money at that moment. He grumbled something about "doing it this once only" and eventually completed the transaction. However, the whole encounter left me feeling disrespected and disappointed in the level of service provided.I expressed my decision not to use their counter service or the post office altogether. Customer service is crucial, and if employees are unhappy working with the public, they should reconsider their career choices. I hope the staff member in question reflects on their behavior and strives to create a more positive environment for both customers and coworkers.Sharing my experience is essential so that others are aware of the service they may encounter at this post office. I hope my feedback contributes to improvements in their overall customer experience.

I have used this PO regularly for many years now, posting parcels abroad and local mailing.I have been in the shop today to pay in monies for a charity account using a paying in card unfamiliar to me, which I explained on arrival. I had coins and notes and a cheque, all counted in money bags and those not in fixed amounts also recorded, and in money bags. I would use the word gentleman if that is what he presented as but he did not. The PO counter worker made It very obvious he was not happy at having to accept the bagged up monies and began slamming the money bags about. I asked if it was not convenient to pay these monies in at this time, he grunted something about 'I will do it this once only'.He did complete the transaction . I informed him I would not be using this service at the counter any more or the PO at all . I left feeling very disappointed at the service and for the other gentleman working in that environment too. If people are not happy working with members of the public they should think seriously about moving jobs. You know who you are and I hope your day gets better. Mine started off very poorly after being in your establishment.

During my recent visit to Winterhey Lane Post Office, I encountered a disheartening level of unfriendliness and rudeness that left me with a sour impression. The purpose of my visit was a simple one - dropping off an Amazon return, a straightforward transaction that should have been hassle-free.Upon entering the post office, I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere, and the staff's demeanor immediately struck me as indifferent. I approached the counter to hand in my Amazon return, expecting a courteous acknowledgment, but instead, I was met with a curt nod without any words of greeting. It felt as if my presence was merely an inconvenience to the counter worker. As I handed over the package, I couldn't help but notice the lack of eye contact or any sign of engagement from the staff. The counter worker's body language was dismissive, and there was an unmistakable air of impatience while processing my return. It seemed as though they were going through the motions, showing little regard for providing a pleasant customer experience.Throughout the interaction, I made an effort to remain polite and courteous, but my efforts were met with coldness. I couldn't help but feel like an imposition, and the encounter left me feeling unwelcome and disheartened.Customer service is the cornerstone of any business, and I firmly believe that even the simplest of interactions should be conducted with a level of respect and friendliness. Unfortunately, that was not the case during my visit to Winterhey Lane Post Office. In contrast to the previous positive experiences I had at this establishment, this particular encounter was a stark departure from the standard of service I had come to expect. As a long-time patron of the post office, I had hoped for a more welcoming environment, especially when dealing with such routine tasks like returning an item.My experience at Winterhey Lane Post Office has left me with reservations about returning in the future. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism, particularly in a customer-facing role.I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback into consideration and implements measures to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. A warm and friendly atmosphere can make all the difference in enhancing the customer experience and building long-lasting relationships with patrons.

Just not friendly and rude, all I was doing was dropping off an Amazon return.
