This review is just about one hot chocolate drink. The drink was made with Asda Barista oat milk. B@lls you can?t call it milk. Anyways Tracey the Waitress made me this drink in a lovely BIG cup with oodles of fresh cream pouring out over the top like a wild white beard blowing in the Horwich wind. Tracey, kindly and needlessly as it happened worried about its presentation. For as soon as it arrived at the table the kids burst out in hilarity about how the cream was streaming to the table.Quick catch it!That one is almost at the bottom! This went on for a quite a while.Easily the best experience of having a hot chocolate before even drinking a drop :-)When I eventually drank it, it was goooood. Just what I needed on a cold day.

Great little deli café recommended by the staff at the wonderful Bridge Hotel nearby. Lovely food and great atmosphere.Vegetarian options: I had poached eggs and Avocado on toast which had a sprinkle of chilli flakes it. What a game changer! I'm not vegetarian but it's my favourite, especially when prepared to perfection like it was here.

Ordered 2 hot sandwich and pot of tea for two Told it would be 15 minutes was that okay, we agreed. If they had been honest and said it was a 40 minute wait, we would not waited. We had somewhere to be in the late afternoon. Tea arrived after five minutes. Food 2 hot club sandwiches eventually arrived after we asked after 40 minutes. Sandwich was below average , turkey, sliced, ridiculously thin, bacon, very fatty, toast Warm bread, not toast. We asked for more tea as the original tea had gone cold. We came to pay not asked if the meal was good, and charged £30 We could have had a decent pub meal for £30. As a general courtesy, you should apologise for the weight and at least not the second part of tea off which we only ordered due to the lengthy delay

Unquestionably the best cafè in the area! The staff give you such a warm welcome as soon as you enter, and are unbelievably polite and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cosy. I love the quirkiness of Thyme with the different types of clocks displayed on the wall which you notice immediately when you walk in. The beautiful wooden flooring, mismatched chairs, comfy sofas, and at the moment has a lovely autumn feel with all the decorations and pumpkin spiced latte, it makes you feel right at home. The food is made fresh everyday, my favourite being the homemade quiches, the pastry is amazing. The GF brownies are outstanding, they are baked on site made with premium dark chocolate. Breakfasts are always spot on, with the sausage and bacon from the local butchers cooked up fresh every morning. They cater for every event you can think of! I cannot give Thyme deli enough praise!Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian/vegan option of the day!Dietary restrictions: They cater for different types of allergies also celiac disease, lactose intolerance and many more.Kid-friendliness: They do events like Louby Lou, Breakfast with Santa, Breakfast with Mickey and Minnie etc.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheel chair accessibility through the back.

Such a wonderful place. And the revamp has made the cafe extra special. The staff are lovely and the food and atmosphere superb.Always enjoy a visit there.Vegetarian options: Very very good. Worth a visit. Reminds me of the Everyman bistro in Liverpool. Has that vibe.

Food hygiene could be better, teaspoon was dirty, chipped cups and teapot and when I asked for a second tea bag for my teapot (as only had one with loads of water so tea was very weak) they obliged but brought it to me in there hands not on a saucer, cup rims were handled by staff as the tea cups do not sit properly on the saucers. Table was sticky also, however, the soup my daughter had looked and smelled nice and she said it was delicious. A bit pricey if I'm honest for drinks. Could be loads better if they take hygiene up a notch.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free and alternative milkKid-friendliness: High chairs available and small pile of games
