My car was booked for an MOT on the Monday afternoon. I did not receive a call that evening or the next day about my car. I called myself several times, but received no answer. I had to visit myself in person, a 30 minute walk, to find out my car had failed its MOT.The center also told me they were unable to make the necessary repairs as they were fully booked for the week. I had to go elsewhere to make the repairs, then return to have the car retested. Further, their MOT tester and brake technician were unavailable from the weekend, so it had to be repaired before Friday.As I need my car for work at 6am, and I travel to work quite far, this was totally unacceptable. The staff there did not provide any help or assistance in getting my car sorted.I find it atrocious that a garage will accept a car for an MOT but not be willing to carry out the necessary repairs, nor even call me to explain the situation in a timely manner. The whole experience was very distressing and caused significant problems for the remainder of the week as I tried to arrange the repairs elsewhere and arrange alternative transport to work at 6am all week.I did not revive an apology at any point and will never be visiting Kwik-Fit ever again.

Poor customer service, the manager Chris has poor communication skills, due to this I went to Hyde Road Tyres instead

I was visiting my daughter in Hyde and drove over an e-cig. The tyre was a right off. Having just turned up with no appointment (thanks to the RAC getting me there). The Kwickfit Team managed to squeeze me in between a full diary of appointments and I wax on my way quicker than they promised. The guys we're polite professional and a credit to the company. Thank you for getting me back on the road in double quick time.
