I think it does its job. People handle things really well here. I think I get to know the staff really well. They have really good conversationalist. I used to think most of them would be too formal and rigid. But it seems like they're relaxed and they're happy to be there. My skepticism is what brings it down a bit though.

I am already a NatWest customer and had to go into the Hyde branch recently to close my mum's accounts following her death as I had some queries regarding her accounts. Initially I was asked to take a seat as I needed to be dealt with privately and I was waiting for a room with an advisor. I waited for about an hour, but I could see that they were extremely busy. My issues and enquiries were dealt with professionally, with empathy and compassion, I was given as much time as needed, I did not feel rushed even though I was aware of the other customers waiting to be seen. I just want to add that the advisor that dealt with me went above and beyond to resolve my issues. Thank you Deborah Darby.

I've been in this branch many times, staff are extremely helpful and efficient.Today my transaction was complex, however, each staff member worked together and it was sorted.Whilst waiting other staff members we're assisting people depositing cash, withdrawing monies and guidance on using machines.I highly recommend this bank, use with confidence.

I would like to apologise for causing the branch a huge inconvenience today by myself paying my money into my bank account!I would normally use the paying in machine to do this. Unfortunately there was somebody already using it and someone waited. As there was no one waiting for the cashier I was sent there due to social distancing. The moment I was served "you do know that you can use the machine?" Urm yes, do you not think I would have if I could???

I have literally just quewed outside for 25-30 mins to be told I can't change my old 20 pound notes because you can't do it on the weekend. Why is the world designed for people that don't work?

This would be better for everyone if you could close down please.

Its a bank, so your never going to see alot of staff. However the staff they do have are friendly and work quickly to keep the queues down. If you're just paying money in whether it's coins or notes there are machines that can be used to save queuing at the counters.

Poor bank. Not gonna waste my time writing about the numerous complaints I have, so I'll be straight to the point. They have no access points such as a ramp for disabled people as far as I'm aware. Despite the fact that the queues can become very long, they're content with leaving only 2 of the 3 cashiers open. The cash and cheque deposit machine hardly ever works with 10 pound notes, rejecting and returning them back. But at least they return the notes unlike an incident today in which I'm convinced a cashier made off with some of my money. I brought £400 to the bank to deposit in my account. The cashier first of all bumbled my money bag open causing the money to spread over the desk. Then after she counted the money, she went to the back behind a wall out of my sight without saying anything. Upon returning she told that there was 390 there, not 400 having counted it on the note checker/ counter machine at the back. I said to her that the bag had 400 but she was adamant that there was 390 and counted 390 by hand, but of course anything could've happened in that time when she went. I'm very suspicious because I counted 400 before I put it in the bag at home, and the way she opened my bag and went to the back without telling me why. At the end, I had to go because she wasn't having any of it and I needed to go as I spent 15 mins on the line as it was. All in all, I'm not coming back to this pathetic excuse of a bank. Also, ignore the 5 star review below by a user named Jeff Roe, rubbish like the bank itself. Do yourself a favour and bank elsewhere.

All our local branches are closed down , leaving this our only branch we are forced to pay extortionate parking fees in this fleapit of a place even though we have a disability car when we enter this branch there's always a queue and only a skeleton staff the machines they encourage us to use are infuriating to use beeb beeb bl#$&*dy beeb tell you you have entered a wrong pin ( NOT) and all that I presume is to cut down on an already reduced staff.Nat west your pathetic..
