“We're very lucky to have two Aldis in Leigh, and this one is my favourite.Life can be mundane, and this place will make you feel alive. There's just a little bit of jeopardy, which I love.”

“Been shopping at Heron foods in Leigh for many years! Lovely selection of foods. Excellent bargains to be had. All staff are brilliant. Can't do enough to help. Daniel Orr always goes above & beyond the call of duty. A very quiet Lad. But likeable cortious & kind. Always point's me in the right direction when i can't find what I'm looking for. Great kid altogether.”

“Lovely place to shop, with lots of variety. Excellent customer service from the lady at the tills. One thing I wasn't too pleased about, I caught an older man waiting at the end of the trolleys taking photos as I was walking out of the store with my daughter.”

“Aldi Store,Entwsle Rd, Rochdale have introduced 4 cash & 4 card self serving tills. How long will it be before Lidl store, Spotland Rd, Rochdale follows Aldi lead. Not a good move for any store to introduce self serving checkouts only”

“I'm confused as to why this premises exists, being so close to an ASDA "Superstore". Saying that I'm sure ASDA corporate are not fools so this operation must make enough profit to justify the two close locations. It is a small ASDA though, with limited stock holding. That said they seem to stock the things most people want (Can't make money if you stock stuff people don't buy I guess) When I went last I managed to get nearly all the products I was looking for. It was clean and tidy with no checkout queues. It was early morning though. But overall......Good experience.”

“Very handy local minimarket. Helpful and friendly staff. Good range of items, however compared to the main Morrisons Supermarkets it is very expensive, even for the basic foodstuffs.”

“Nice, clean and wide isles with plenty of choices. Large car park with a car wash if required. Nice reasonably priced cafe upstairs with a lift access. In general prices are not too bad if you have a club card to discount prices. One thing I dislike is the various ways of pricing similar items so that you are unable to compare them properly. But this happens in all supermarkets.”

“I love the variety and prices in Morrisons. Plus they farm their own fresh produce, all their veg, fruit and meat is cared for and grown by them. It's good to know where the food I buy comes from.”

“I want to give a special thank you to a member of staff MAX who went out of his way to help he should definitely be promoted for the way his work ethics are for helping a customer immediately.”

“Sainsbury's in Leigh is a very good location, it is a large supermarket forming part of the Parsonage Retail Park. While I wasn't able to get the item I came in for, I was pleased with the selection overall, I found them to be one of the better supermarkets in the area for overall choice/selection in both grocery and home, the store had a nice, modern feel to it too which I liked. There is also an upstairs area with a Cafe and Clothing Section, so the store is HUGE. I do think the staff could have had better knowledge of where to find items, after asking someone where to find something, I later found out we were in the wrong area of the store and they didn't stock it anyway, he did seem super friendly though. The worst part about this store for me was they seemed to have blockages down every aisle from warehouse cages to even a warehouse truck, it seemed to be in the worst possible positions, luckily the store was large so this didn't have a huge effect, but it felt like I was in the middle of a construction site in parts of the store. My checkout experience was quick and easy using Sainsbury's Smartshop, it would have been good to see them have more bags at the front of the store in order to support this. 4* - Very good supermarket in Leigh, it is spacious and modern with a fairly good selection of most items.”
