AVOID their "Good Home" gloss paint, it says one coat over primer,maybe two. I am on a 5th coat now. The door had to be painted flat, as the paint is so runny, no way could you do a vertical surface without runs. Unless you do 10 coats. Big companies like this shouldn't sell rubbish products.

Me and my mum came here last week to purchase some lights. When we asked for assistance we were helped by Russ who was helping out on the lighting area as his normal role is within the gardening department. Russ went above and beyond helping us and gave us lots of advice and really made us feel valued as a customer. Thank you so much Russ for your help ?

Does B&Q not see the irony of 75% of the toilet cubicles being 'out of order' in a shop that sells everything to fix them? Nor of the only operational cubicle being spattered in faeces when they sell all manner of cleaning products? Just sayin'

The kitchen designer went to print something and she was gone for a 25 minutes.She clearly wanted to finish as soon as possible. Couldn't wait to go home.We are not happy with the experience.

I bought a quilt here and when I took it home, I unwrapped it and it had black smudges on it.Two women including a manager didn't refund me when I got it back to the shop with the receipt.I went through an ordeal in store, I would have preferred to have talked with kind staff.What a horrible experience it was for me, I am long term ill and was shown no mercy.

I received exceptional service from Mark at the paint counter at the Cheetham Hil store on 14/10/23. He was very friendly, helpful and just wonderful. My husband and I are regular shoppers at this store, but this was the first time we met Mark. We will definitely be back in to see him again. He's a credit to your store.

When you turn up and 1pm on a Friday to get paint mixed... from a paint specialist, only to be told they have no one in until 4pm who can work the paint mixer. Time to train some people up as there were at least 10 people in the paint section all looking lost as they were all there wanting paint mixed.Crazy !

Went twice to get some timber cut. Both times no one was trained to handle the machines. Not good enough. I suggest customers call first.

This is our 3rd bad experience in this branch this year. Staff lack of knowledge using their systems, till points not working properly and lack of interest in actually giving good customer service.Got to the tills and only 2 were open on a Saturday afternoon. Purchasing 2 small items, and the card machine stopped working properly. After only 1 minute or so a big que started forming. No self service tills open. The lady then disappeared off to another till and left me stranded at the faulty one. She was going to start serving other people on the new till until I said that myself and the gentleman behind me were first. People were swearing and shouting for more tills to open, so, said lady left us stranded AGAIN to open a self service till for other people which prompted more outrage and swearing. I knocked on the managers door and asked for her to come out to sort out the chaos. Finally, the lady came back and completed my order. Think I'll go to the Bury branch in the future!

We always find B&Q good for most of our needs. Useful online stock check is great as you can look if your items are there in advance and it will tell you where to find them. Saves a lot of time.

I had to wait about 45 minutes for a barcode for a flower. The lady finally came and was not very friendly. The level of service was poor and the way she talked to us was not very nice. I suggest training your staff in customer service. Unhappy customer.
