The bank staff is incompetent and useless. I had gone there after being directed to go to a branch to submit documentation for a change of mandate. When handing over the documents, I asked multiple times to confirm they had everything and that it would get to the proper department. They lost them and got nothing done.Another time, I needed to speak with someone for another process. Apparantly that person only works/does that process one day a week, only up until 1:30PM, often takes that day off, and requires appointments. None of this was told to me the first or second time I went. This then required further visits and time wasting from me to find this out and make further visits to get anything done.If given the choice, I would never bank with Barclays, especially through this branch, ever again, and I would advise everyone else to do the same.

??I have visited them to open an Account today and it was after I have made an appointment by phone ? and went there the reciption guy said you can't open an account because the superior is not here! What a bank can't open an account for customer although i have applied online and only needed to show my ID to proceed, I really don't recommend them, I applied for Halifax and I got it by one day only much better ? one star is too much for Barclays bank but I had to put it to write my comment,peace

Really really awful customer service!! They are laughing and speaking to customers all the time and don?t follow the other customers! A young man stuff there keeps my id! They behaving to me like a thief! My account was blocked! After 2 hour stayed there for nothing! You don?t care the customers! Only you don?t trust the customers! I will close my Barclays account soon as possible and will create with another bank. Awful stuff!!!!

The absence of a branch has proved difficult and my efforts to use the mobile on line method general ends in throwing in the towel,when I do occasionally make the branch I find the staff very when I consider I am being targeted by scammers the fraud people are already on to them and contact me to reassure they have it in hand Kim.

The service provided pushed me into changing my business account with another bank! Terrible and pointless bank to have in the area when they do not provide any personal customer service and the existing staff insist you use the machines. They are irrelevant staff if they cannot provide 121 personal banking service! And when a complaint is made, no one processes it or follows it through. In addition the manager is completely useless and lied about what she was going to do with the complaint and trained to go around you rather answer your directly when asked. Customer service calls are mostly based in India so made it more difficult for them to handle your queries and issues which keeps you around in circles, intentionally. I would suggest to go with Lloyds TSB and Halifax as most of there call centres are based in the UK and provide a much better customer service to deal with any enquiries and complaints more efficiently. I found their other branches to be the same. Barclays in general is awful - their staff, system and branches are very unprofessional and the way they treat their customers are completely unacceptable.

Terrible service! Have visited this branch three times now. each time i had to wait at least 13 minutes just to be seen. Not enough staff, then the staff they do have are not competent or professional!!
