Boots in Didsbury is good for collecting medicine. The rest of the shop is poorly maintained, stock is not refilled and very limited.

I am a new customer to the on-line prescription service via Boots Didsbury.I have a couple of important pieces of information that require adding but I cannot get through and was sitting waiting non phone until someone literally just dis-connected my call.

My doctor prescribed my medicine on 1 May. I didn?t hear anything from them. A week later I phoned them twice every day. Nobody picked the phone up. I contacted my doctor who prescribed a second time. Then I got a txt, I went to collect my medicine and I got 2 lots. I was without my vital medicine for 2 weeks. When I complained at the counter, the response was, ?I wasn?t here last week.?

On the website it says something was in stock but when I went in to store the lady said that It was taken away and seemed surprised I asked. Bit disappointing that what it says on the website does not match up to what is actually there

I shall now leave Boots pharmacy after many years. I went to pick up my prescription and was told it wasn't there. I explained that my GPs told me they had sent the order to them (Boots) so the counter assistant in Boots told me she would get an item that I needed urgently. A young male assistant then took over and said they had all the items in stock. I can only assumed that the first assistant didn't want to bother. So I got all the items. Quite a few customers appeared unhappy. I am not surprised.

A very welcoming pharmacy team! Their customer service skills are brilliant! The pharmacist... I think his name was Austin.. He went above and beyond to help me get my medication before I was due to fly out on holiday! Thank you

I rang 3 times each time until a member of staff stopped the call without answering, so I turned up assuming two days was enough to prepare my prescription, it wasn't and could I come back after 3.30pm the next day for my prescriptions. I came back the next day, waiting in the pharmacy queue slow takes on a new meaning, there was a young lady serving who didn't appear to be adequately trained, every other sentence was an apology and there was certainly plenty to apologise for! I waited 20 minutes in the queue and for at least 10 minutes she was with one customer only. Me and the lady behind me both missed our trains waiting. Its just a shame zero stars isn't an option.
