Went in for a quick frappe today after 7pm when waiting for my train and the lady that served me was the loveliest person I have ever met. Didn't get her name unfortunately, but I hope she gets praised for her amazing customer service. The frappe was also lovely :)

It was perfect for a short break after train travel. The staff that served me was very pleasant and supportive of my huge luggage. The coffee itself was delicious, with a taste that everyone could enjoy.

The service couldn?t be slower. The staff look like they?re on a yoga escape practicing slow thoughtful movements. I?ve been here before (about a year ago now) and it?s a totally different experience. The staff clearly don?t care that people have trains to catch. I walked out as did several other people on the queue. Next door at Nero I had a coffee within 2minutes.

I?ve never written any reviews before, but with this one I really have to! I went to buy a coffee yesterday at around 2.30pm and the lady barista who made my coffee was the friendliest, warmest and sweetest ever! Definitely among the very best customer service I have experienced! Thank you for making my day ?

I love to work here on the weekends. Top floor has a lot of space and plugs!

Caffè Nero at Manchester Piccadilly is a reliable option to grab a coffee, before or after your train, or while out and about in the city centre, with very generous opening hours, open from 04:00, up until 22:00, closing an hour earlier on Sundays. While they appear to be located within a large unit within the train station, the seating is limited, it mainly consists of bar-style seating, with a small number of booth-style seating (Weird for a coffee shop!), and regular tables. There is a large selection of merch and cups/syrups to take home, but it seems this came at the expense of much-needed extra tables. There are plenty of plug sockets, especially at the bar-style seating which is handy, I didn't notice as many plug sockets at the more comfortable tables though.I visited a couple of hours before they were due to close, and they had taken most of their tables out of use (despite only having a small amount anyway), I ended up having to sit at a table, which felt like a large treasure chest or draw, it had no gap underneath, meaning I had to sit at an angle, It feels like a waste having a large comfortable sofa, which people wouldn't be able to use comfortably due to a lack of leg room, even I struggled and I'm fairly short.Service was a little slow with only one staff member appearing to be working, she seemed to have the task of taking orders, making the drinks, repeat, again this seems to be what usually happens with Nero, but there still should have been at least two staff members working, they weren't overly busy, but being in a train station especially, they must work on speed. The barista was friendly though and tried her best. The prices here seem to be a little higher than a regular Caffè Nero, probably down to it being in a train station. My drink quality was fine, I couldn't taste the pistachio in my Iced Pistachio Latte, and while the coffee was nice, it tasted no better than what I can make at home with my Nespresso machine, with minimal effort and craft required. Again, I did find the drink to be far too small, with the barista advising they only have one size available in the large drinks.Probably one of the best coffee shops in town, which is open after 8 pm with decent drinks and service, not the best but there's certainly a lot worse. The seating area at the back of the store (when open) is much more comfortable! 4*

Absolutely awful cafe Nero on Portland street Manchester. Dirty floors ,all surfaces dirty and very tired . Not welcoming to see . Needs drastic refurbishment and deep clean including staff inside.

Poor customer service - I wanted a sit-down with a coffee and a bite to eat, and after ordering and paying, I was presented with a take out drink and my panini in a bag, and told "we're closing in a few minutes". There were no visible opening times displayed, and the website said they should have been open for another hour. They should have informed me they were closing imminently before taking my order, not after I'd paid, as I would have gone elsewhere so I could sit. Instead I ended up with takeout that i didnt want.

I was waiting for a train and went to Cafe Nero next to Piccadilly Rail station in Msnchester. Sadly I found it very dirty with food strewn on the tables and floor. There were empty cups etc on tables and the b batista looked unkempt. The coffee was OK but would not go to a Nero again

I was pleasantly surprised with the back of it as I always thought it was a very small café nero. Service was fast and coffee was always with the same quality! Will come back again for sure!

Very bad experience. Staff were rude, having a conversation and laughing and joking with each other while I was trying to order. The table felt sticky so I gave the surface a cursory wipe and the antibacterial wipe came up nearly black. The table had clearly not been cleaned in a long time and was filthy.

Amazing service. From the minute we walked in the lady behind the counter was very helpful and kind. Brilliant service and amazing customer service skills. Thankyou for a lovely visit.

Ordered a luxury mocha and I got it in a small cup. The waiter forgot to add cream and chocolate on top. Also heard giggling between workers after they both looked at me and my friend.

For chain store standards the coffee was skilfully made and tasted good. I can confirm you can fit in here with a trolley and 3 suitcases which was ideal when waiting for a late train. Thank you
