I have been a patron of your store for the past year, appreciating the great reductions. However, my shopping experience has been consistently marred by the uncomfortable presence of a particular security guard. His behaviour, which I?ve noticed on multiple occasions, reached a tipping point during my last visit after 22:00 last night. This guard has a habit of lurking around in a manner that feels intrusive. Most recently, he followed me around the store, and during my checkout at the self-service kiosk, he stood uncomfortably close, watching me scan my items. While I understand the necessity of security measures, being made to feel guilty and scrutinized from the moment I enter is unacceptable. The atmosphere this creates is one of apprehension and discomfort, which is not conducive to a pleasant shopping experience. Therefore, I regret to inform you that, due to these experiences, I will not be returning to your store.I hope my feedback prompts a review of your security practices, particularly the behavior of this guard, to ensure that all customers can shop in comfort without feeling unnecessarily watched.

Super creepy outlet, the staff are rude but that?s not all. Ladies and girls please be careful of the guard at night, walks extremely close behind and sings and makes you uncomfortable by following around and staring.

Staff never say hello or goodbye, they are pretty miserable. No self serve has cash and nobody is ever at the til early in the morning. Annoying.

I come into this co op quite regularly, as I find it is one of the better ones in Manchester. I was recently helped by a lovely young woman called Gabby. What a kind and helpful young lady! Always greets me (and I assume everyone) with a smile and has a great work ethic. Best wishes, steve.

pretty decent co-op with a wide range of goods. Nipped in here for a bottle of water to wet my whistle and I left with a bottle of san pellegrino sparkling water, a pack of 4 yum yums and a happier outlook on life. It's a great addition to Manchester

Changed crisps to £2.50 lol! Who is paying that????? The Co-Op is just extracting the urine at this point! ??????

For a City Centre convenience store this is a flagship (not officially, in the traditional sense). I visited yesterday evening to drop off some parcels and pick up a few bits and pieces. All the staff, including security, were helpful and polite. I truly can't say that about every convenience store in the city. Your mileage might vary, but I was a happy customer.

Didn't offer the full range of products usually available but the products on offer are of a high quality. Would have rated higher of not for a few gaps on the shelf

Good to grab quick burger and a Costa latte when on jury service

On visiting the shop today I found Elisha, one of the staff members to be very understanding of my student status. She answered all of my questions and so, going forwards I will know how to optimise my shopping trip each week. Thanks Elisha. Co-op should give this girl a raise or promotion!

Friendly staff. Great range of fresh items and good to go. Super handy for grocery delivery options and love the fact I can pick up and drop off my parcels including John Lewis. Great store

Ordered a pot noodle on deliveroo, they didn't have my flavour so cancelled the order. Called store and the guy said deliveroo don't supply an alternative flavour which would be the most obvious route you would think. Even if its not company policy he had me on the phone and chose to not do this for me as a charitable thing. Basically a robot male karen.

City centre branch of Co-op, with the usual range of ready meals, small amount of fresh veg, lunch and sandwich options, and small household sections. Plenty of tills available. Hot food unit for pies and slices. Costa coffee machine.

Can't even pay cash on the self service machines and no one manning the tills. Rather deal with a person and what if your card stops working? Mine did and it took 7 days to a new one.

This Co-op Food location is one of my favourite small supermarkets in the city centre, not only does it remain rather modern following the store improvements after they took over the unit from Little Waitrose, it has a rather good selection of many essential items, including a small gluten-free selection as well as a selection of brands which can be hard to find in other stores including a selection of iced teas, Shaken Udder milkshakes and many others, including the Co-op own brand which have some nice gluten-free varieties of ribs, chips and more. The staff seem pretty friendly and happy to help, which is especially good during these times and the Coronavirus pandemic. I do feel the price of some items is a little expensive, for example, to buy just four pints of milk it is £1.50. In comparison, most other supermarkets charge between £1.10 and £1.15 for 4 pints which is over a third more, you can make this considerably cheaper through the purchase of 2 lots of 4 pints, which works out a gallon for £2.20. They do have many similar multi-by offers on to-go drinks. 4*
