I normally give 5 stars to Costa. But when I visited this place and ordered my usual, a Cortado, I could not believe how badly and with such lack of interest it was prepared and handed to me.
It tasted more like a watered down Latte than a Cortado.
I took it back and the girl did change it and apologize. But why was I even given this coffee is beyond me.
It's the second time I've come across a member of staff at a Costa that does not seem to want to be there.
On the other hand, this Costa is hidden away at the top of Next store in the Trafford Centre and it's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy shopping centre.

My friend and I spent a good four hungover hours here whilst waiting for her train. We sat in comfy armchairs and enjoyed caffeinated bevarages whilst being left in peace. When people watching, many people came to study or to work together. Plug sockets are available in some areas for laptops and the suchlike. Large Costa and we were not disturbed at all! However the bathrooms require pin access, which was not ideal in our state. Ha ha ha. Good central coffee shop location.

A great store! It manages to keep Costa's signature atmosphere, despite Being really busy. I feel like they should have more staff on to deal with the high footfall, but I don't think that's up to them. One other snag is it seems like there's no care on the coffee machine, so it's just constantly a mess.

It's the standard Costa Coffee. I don't like their brand of coffee very much but if you do, go there.

The two Barista's on today (a moody unorganized girl and a talkative lad) around 3pm wouldn't stop gossiping. All I was waiting for was a small cold berry drink.
There were 6 customers behind me waiting for their orders also.
The till lad wasn't happy about the service speed either. The manager had to come out and assist..
