“Atherton's very own shopping outlet centre with Edinburgh Woolen Mill, Pavers and Bon Marche and cafe as well as Ena Mill's own departments. Everything discounted! Big brands.Only downside is that men's section seems to shrink everytime I visit!”

“I was served by Julia on the men’s wear on the second floor, I asked if I could try on a few pieces of Issey miyake and Comme des Garçons. She was so help full and grabbed me all the sizes I needed, I mentioned that I may not buy I just wanted to see how they looked. She said ” not a problem at all I will meet you over at the fitting room with all the sizes, feel free to take a seat there” with in 10 minutes she brought all the pieces and a few extra pieces she thought I may like. She gave me great advice, I loved three pieces but decided on the comme des garçons unisex trousers. There was a beautiful issey miyake jacket I loved, and she asked me if I was interested. I said I would just take the trousers as I shouldn’t have bought anything at all. There was no pressure and she was so friendly and made me feel very relaxed and she was very genuine. I would definitely buy more from her in the future if I was in Manchester and hoping to see her again. She is a great member of your team at your store in Manchester.”

“It is easy to access even if you go on a wheelchair because the Isle are wide enough. It's clean and tidy. Staff is friendly. It is situated inside a retail park with other stores (B&M, Matalan, Pet at home, Wicked) makes shopping easier.”

“TKMaxx, you NEED to know this: your labels are bright orange, and whatever dye is used is permanent; it is not washable. That means that, if one happens to, by some way, get liquid in their shopping bags, by way of a spilled drink, rain etc, their new purchase(s) are without a doubt jeopardised by the colour of the receipt. My cream linen shorts jumpsuit still has orange stains, after many stain treatments and washes :-(Love everything else, though :-)”

“I just love the quality ofThe products they sell, but have really reasonable prices but you can tell the quality with each piece in the room. Can’t fault the staff either, they are always happy to help and really approachable and I keep going back because it’s such a positive shopping experience . I just don’t like the delivery fee every time order”

“M&S outlet has got to be one of my favourite places to shop. So many bargains to to found and you know the quality will be great. They have some Christmas decorations in the clearance session so head down before there all gone.”

“Wide selection of homeware items and a good discount section for technology and also a good discount section for babies.Shop is always clean and staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a shame that the shop doesn't offer price match anymore, however still plenty of good offers to be had.”

“The aesthetic of M&S is truly one of elegance and class. In addition to that, the customer service is Top Tier. I had a bra fitting session with Julie K and it was the best fitting I’ve ever had! She was incredibly helpful and hospitable as well as being able to help me find my perfect size. A true professional at work, not to mention that the people at tills were also nice and kindly helped me find out the price of the item I wanted. M&S is ALWAYS a pleasure to shop!”

“Designer clothes at more reasonable prices. Usually have to sift through the racks to find the best bargains, not as much variety on my last visit, maybe the seasons are due to change or its since they've started selling online. Still always worth a visit and you're highly likely to find a couple of bargains. I never walk out empty handed. Free parking. Check your items properly as I found different sizes hung on a medium sized hanger on the medium size rail, frustrating but at least I didn't walk out with them not realising.”

“As a very experienced shopper we all that Tk Maxx is a holy grail of bargains but the secret is it varies week on week so you have to be committed in that some weeks you won't see anything and other weeks there's loads. I was lucky on this visit, I found some absolute bargains for skincare and scooped the lot! It's not a shop where they have the same stock each week, it's not Sainsburys, it's a bargain store. You have to dig and rummage. Anyway I lost 2 hours and loved it. Will be back!”

“Been in today to exchange a few baby items, always good service and choice. But was exceptional service and assistance from the lovely Caitlin, I'd have been there for an hour otherwise! She helped me find all I needed within 15mins and done. Thank you Caitlin and the lovely folk at the checkout!”

“An M&S quite small compared to the one in the city centre, but people can still find lots of tasty M&S signature food here, like spaghetti, salad, desserts, and juice.”

“Great for all your shopping essentials! Lovely staff that’s always happy to help! Shelves are always stocked up and the shop is kept clean on regular bases! Love their veggies and fruits section the most as it’s full of fresh produce. Their fridge section is impressive too. They’ve got great choice of meat, fish, shellfish, cheese, smoothies, juices as well as great selection of frozen foods such as pizzas, ready meals, ice creams just to name a few. It’s a pure pleasure to shop in here! They’ve got it all! Would recommend ✨”

“A huge thank you to Epha/Eava (apologies I’m not sure how her beautiful name is spelt). This team member helped to match me to an hourglass tinted cream. She was superb and so patient. She honestly made my day and was genuinely listening to me. Cannot thank her enough. She even brought me lip liner from another concession to help match the colour I was after.I am very grateful and converted from Selfridges xAva”

“Marks and Spencer Simply Food at Manchester Fort is a rather large location, considering this is just an M&S Simply Food location, it features a nice selection of groceries as well as additional facilities including toilets and a Cafe. Due to being in a retail park, there's plenty of free parking right outside the store, which is a benefit compared to their larger store in Manchester city centre, which only has paid parking. The store was tidy and easy to follow, and had a good selection of products, while the store may not have had as extensive a selection (and eco-credentials) as the Manchester Market Street store nearby, it makes a good alternative in the Cheetham Hill area. The staff seemed friendly enough and happy to help. 4*”

“Overall, I enjoyed my shopping experience at Next Manchester. I found a good selection of t-shirts with real patterns, which is something I look for. The prices were reasonable for a boutique-style store. However, I was disappointed that there was no one to help with selection.Specific feedback:* T-shirts: I was impressed with the variety of t-shirts available, and I found several options that I liked. The prices were also reasonable.* Customer service: I was disappointed that there was no one to help me with selection. I would have appreciated some assistance in finding the right t-shirts for me.Overall, I would recommend Next Manchester to others, but I would suggest that they go prepared to do some browsing on their own.”

“I got a nice pair of shoes from this store. However, there aren't many options to choose from because most of the products come in limited size and color. The prices are reasonable. The staff are ok.”

“House of bargains more like! Wife loved it and nearly cleared the store out but the bill was reasonable. It was quiet in store but staff respectful and attentive especially Julie in the homeware department.”

“This is our local supermarket and I actually really enjoy visiting. A great selection of essentials and luxuries, with lots of changing seasonal items too. Small home + clothing sections where you can often find a really lovely, well-designed item and a great bargain. The staff are on the whole great too, very personable and helpful.Unfortunately the cafe isn’t great, as I think supermarkets over the country are cutting their cafe offerings and understaffing these areas. There also seems to be regular issues with fridges and freezers breaking and staff having to move stock around to deal with this. Unsure why there are such consistent issues here, but looks like the wider company may need to invest more in the equipment and maintenance here. Not the fault of this individual store though.”

“I've always had a good experience when shopping at the Manchester Fort Argos. In the main they have most items in stock, and their click and collect service is simple and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, and returns have never been an issue.”

“Staff were great in helping me grab an HDMI cable very late on Friday night just before closing. Nice dude grabbed a Nintendo Switch out of its box just to show me how to hook the device up, which was necessary given how confused I was about its plugs. I was tired and in a rush, so this level of commitment goes the extra mile.”

“We had bought my sister a new computer in Ripon as a present. Drove over to Manchester to give it to her. Came home to be told....it's not the correct computer! In fact argos no longer sells the computer in the box! Another trip to Manchester from North yorkshire!? called in yesterday explained the situation and was told we would have to take it back from where we had bought it! Dont think so. Argos over the door! Sooooo the managers came out and were extremely helpful. My sister had decided she no longer wanted the computer and changed it for something else? the staff and management were polite, motivated and professional. We had to return the next day for the new computer. All exchanged without a fuss. Thanks guys”
