Just less than £1.50 a litre, surprisingly they're cheaper than the supermarkets.

Went here to the tyre shop, small independent business.I was told tyres are ok for next few months and not had over by being told to get new ones now. I thought that was good honest service. I shall return here as I felt comfortable with their advice and service. Thank you guys.

It's ok...for a filling station I suppose, petrol prices though are way, way higher than all other local filling stations so hence why I have given 3 stars.

I wasn't going to write a review but after a recent incident I feel compelled to let other customers know exactly what their dealing with at KP mot centre/garage in Blackley (Note this review is not related the Esso petrol station, Tex tyres and the car wash businesses that share the grounds with KP mot centre/garage). In January this year (2018) I booked my car into the garage for a full service. Whilst my car was at the garage I received a phone call from the manager Zak to say that my front brakes needed changing ASAP and my rear brakes need replacing but I'd get another 3 month or so out of them. As I have used this garage a number of times and previously left good reviews for them, I was happy that they just get on with replacing both front and rear brakes without question. All did not go as planned, whilst changing the rear brakes the piston on the rear calliper had become faulty and calliper needed replacing. Zak said that the replacement calliper would be £300 and unfortunately they should only be replaced in pairs, so an extra £600 on top of the initial bill. I again didn't question what Zak told me, I had no reason to disbelieve anything he was telling me. Well why would I? Im a valued customer who has been using this same garage for years. More recently I was told that BOTH of the callipers was actually damaged by Zak the manager in error. I took what I was told with a pinch of salt, but the seed of doubt was planted in my head. I spoke with an independent mechanic who didn't know me as I needed some clarification. To my surprise I was told that what I had been told previously was likely to be the case and also callipers don't need changing in pairs as my car is only four years old. With this I went to KP mot centre to have it out with the manager, he was on holiday. I returned a few days later and shared my concern with him. He said the what I had been told was lies and that the piston on one calliper had retracted and wouldn't come back out and the other had seized. Now I know he lied to me.. He changed what he told me previously. My car is computerised and tells me everything I need to know and there was nothing to suggest there was a fault, other than a service needed on my car. Zak denies causing any damage to my car but agreed to refund me £300 as a gesture of good will. I wasn't thrilled about this as I had paid out £600 for callipers that HE damaged. But better than nothing! I agreed at his request to give him a few days to get the money together. I went back on Friday as agreed, he wasn't there. I went back Saturday morning (9th June) to collect the agreed refund. He had written a short statement that he expected me to sign in agreement for the refund. I declined to read and sign any agreement, I went there to collect the agreed refund and I would have left quietly. Sadly it didn't turn out to be so peaceful. It resulted in Zak phoning the police as I refused to leave the garage without the money he agreed to refund me. I initially refused to speak with the police, however he shared my phone number with them and they phoned me. I explained everything to them and read out the letter/agreement he wanted me to sign. The officer said he was trying to gag me and what he had written wasn't a legally binding agreement, whether I sign it or not. I continued my right to peaceful protest until Zak agreed to refund me the discussed £300. I can confirm that I was given £300 and I didn't sign any agreement and I left with no further incident. It is not in my nature to cause a huge scene, but I refuse to do nothing and be ripped off. This review is not meant as a threat to this business, BUT as a means of sharing my recent experience at KP mot centre in Blackley.
