Came here today to sort an issue out for my elderly father. He unfortunately fell as he was entering the building and the security guard and staff were very helpful in helping me pick him up and brought him a chair. There wasn't a queue so we were seen pretty quickly and the security guard brought a chair for my father. Previously came last month without an appointment and was able to see a mortgage advisor on the same day for some advice. Excellent service from staff who served me whenever I have visited this branch.

What happened to me in this bank in Picadelly Halifax is incredible the times I went I had to count them I went 11 times to create a bank account 5 times they sent me to look for a proof of where I live council tax national insure number how many people live at home that I have been in the UK for a long time looking for all these requirements and yesterday, July 13, 2023, the boy named luck tells me that he cannot open the account because the request I made online put the request abandoned but I explained to him that that was for all the time I had to go. and going back to the office carrying a document tells me to do it again and come back that I already have all the requirements to open an accountThat same day I left and went to Barclay and it turns out that at Barclay they opened my account in 10 minutes, to be exact, many Halifax for not helping me become your client.

I opened an account last Sunday and I was having some problems understanding cashback. I visited the Manchester Piccadilly branch and was seen almost straight away even though there were a few people waiting. The staff I have spoken to so far are all very polite and professional. I am glad I opened an account with Halifax.

I would avoid this bank at all costs. Useless as they come. Two times they made appointments to open a bank account and both of the times they cancelled the appointment, first time with no notification and the second time only 1h and a half before the time of the appointment on the same day. Useless bank, how much of a knowledge do you need to have someone ?specialised? to open a bank account. Avoid like the plague and they can keep their accounts to themselves.

I've visited this bank over 100 times. I can count on one hand how many of those visits had a less than 5 min wait. Staff availability for customers is absolutely abysmal, although they are mostly very pleasant after the wait.

Visited the branch today with no appointment at 15.30, waited 5min for the consultant and received the best customer service in a bank ever. Lady called Shade went out her way to help me, despite usually not dealing with this kind of problems and my initial request was to simply change my contact details. She could've easily said it not her job, so many thanks!

Not enough counter staff, always a queue going out of the door and cashier?s tend to take too long chatting s**t and purposely keeping customer waiting to be served

I dont think ive ever had a bad experience here. Self service banking is easy. Had some old pound coins i found so banked that in with a member of staff easily. Needed my fixed mortgage rate renewed and went in to discuss with a mortgage advisor whom, the front help desk went to check if he had enough time to squeeze me in which surely he did. Excellent service and quick efficency

The staff in general try to be as awkward and unhelpful as they can possibly be, however having said this there are some exeptions and a couple of the female staff are very polite and helpful

Drunk man started abusing a lad in front of me and the staff just laughed. Security did nothing. 3+ machines broken, queue at 12am about 20 minutes.
