I tried to return a item I purchased online only to be humiliated by the staff/manager. I have requested a reciept to prove that I have in fact returned the item (proofing precautions) but was told in a rude way that we don't do that anymore. 8 days later I get half the refund and the other half was to be sent by cheque which could take 10 to 14 days plus 2-3 days for the bank to process the it. To sum it up, avoid this store or you know what, just avoid this entire franchise.

Has the usual M+S offerings, relatively small but well stocked. Finding parking outside can be difficult as it's in a busy spot

Quite a few vegetarian choices including sweets. Fresh packaged fruit salads in fridge, and vegetarian pasta salads. Good sandwich choice. Handy to pop in to buy your lunch.

The manager was very helpful and went out of his way to find something I wanted off the delivery carts. He always welcomes everyone who walks into the shop with a smile

I visited the M&S store today in Chorlton to return a christmas present that was unsuitable. The manager that dealt with my issue had no idea what customer service constituted and provided a most disappointing service.He was unfriendly and rather rude. The item I was returning had an online value of £30 however the manager would only offer me £17? Which I found totally ilogical.As the item was a gift I expected the refund in the form of a credit note and for it to be honoured at £30. As I am not one to make a scene or debate the matter (Question Time with D.D) I left the store with the £17 credit note. I then contacted the customer service team who gladly resolved the issue and refunded the additional £13.They demonstrated a high regard for customer service confirming that the Chorlton store had a very poor leadership team that required comprehensive training on customer service, as they were a disappointment to the M&S establishment

It's amazing walking into this place as their air conditioning throughout the store is perfect. It's cold but not too cold (to give some context, I'm writing this during a heatwave). They have a really good selection of food and wine and is always a good place to go for a nice meal when you're feeling lazy. They don't have much in terms of raw materials as it's only a small store but still manages to have a lot on offer. One problem they do have, which in fairness is somewhat out of their control, is getting into and out of the car park can be difficult as it if shared with a KFC and is adjacent to a main road.

Very disappointed, went to get served at the till. When I went to the till, a sales assistant told me that I had to use the self service till, didn't even apologise.This was at 9.15 in the morning, the shop was well staffed. Clearly they could not be bothered, too busy doing admin behind the till. We wonder why the high street is dying!

Once again this morning I was refused service at the till ?? This happens all the time ' Told to use the self service which I dislike using ' What happened to good old Customer Service ? ' When the staff are stocking shelves or Standing around Chatting ' NEVER AGAIN FOR THIS CUSTOMER !!!

Not much selection compared to similar sized M&S's. 1/4 store taken up by coffee and flowers. Could just use that for more selection of food.
